Supplying, Installing, testing & commissioning of Factory Made, Floor mounted, 11 kV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, SF6 Insulated, Motorised, outdoor, extensible type, 4 Way RMU Consisting of 2 Nos. LBS as Incoming and 2 Nos. VCBSs as Outgoing with SCADA Compatible complete all specified and as directed and shall comprise of the following: Make of RMU/ VCB/ Vacuum Interrupter/ Relays/ FRTU : ABB/ SIEMENS/ SCHNEIDER Contd/-........

[A] RMU shall be floor mounted, 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, SF6 Insulated, Motorized, outdoor, extensible type, RMU shall be type tested in line with latest IEC Standards, suitable for operations at a height up to altitude 1000 Meters above sea level and Ambient Temperature range from 5ºC to 50ºC without any de-rating, Switchgear and Busbar shall all be contained in a Stainless Steel Enclosure [Minimum 2.0mm thick SS 304 Grade filled with SF6 at 0.3 Bar [300 hPa] Relative Pressure, RMU Tank shall provide Full Insulation and Switchgear shall be insensitive to the environment with Degree of Protection of IP67, Switchgear Operating Mechanism shall have an IP2X Protection and Cable Chamber shall have IP3X Protection, Outer Enclosure shall be IP 54 type tested, Powder Coated with Pure Polyester Based Paint, suitable for the site installation conditions, Accidental Overpressure due to an Internal Arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator, Plug in type of extensibility must be provided and coupling busbar should not be exposed to air to avoid oxidation of busbars.There should be temperature sensor at each cable side bushing for bother breaker and LBS . [B] Each Vacuum Circuit Breaker [VCB] shall be comprising of the following: [i] 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA/ 3s, 3 Pole Motorised VCB (Non draw out type) with 3 pole manual disconnector and 3 pole manual earth switch, Motorized Spring Assisted Mechanism and Series Trip Coil – 1 No. [ii] Self Powered Relay with O/C, S/C, E/F Protection. Relay shall have a Front USB for Laptop Interface, LCD Display, 10 Event Records, 5 Fault Records, min 2 setting group and keypad for setting parameters for the relay – 1 No [iii] Resin Cast ring core Protection CT, Plate mounted type : 100-50/1A, 5P10, 2.5 VA-01 Set. [iv] Live Cable Indicator with indications at the Front and Three Inlets to check the Synchronization of Phases – 1 No [v] Making capacity - 52.5 kAp [vi] Cable Termination Bushing suitable for up to 1 Run, 3 Core, 185 Sq.mm, XLPE Cable – 1 Set [vii] Cable Termination Cover Boots [Push on type] – 1 Set Contd/-......

[viii] Circuit Breakers shall have Two Positions: Open or Disconnected and Closed. A separate and independent 3 Position Earthing Switch and disconnector shall be fitted to open and earth the cables in such way that interlocks prevent all unauthorised operations. An operating mechanism shall be used to manually close the circuit breaker and charge the mechanism in a single movement. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 Positions Earthing Switch and Disconnector Circuit breaker shall be fitted with a local system for manual tripping by an Integrated Push Button. There shall be no automatic reclosing. Circuit Breaker shall have a min of 2000 Mechanical and Electrical Operations and 50 Nos Short Circuit Operations, Disconnector and Earth Switch shall have a minimum of 1000 [M1] Mechanical Operations , 100 Electrical Operations at rated current. Notes: [a] An operator situated in front, lateral and rear [A-FLR 21 kA – 1 Sec, Downwards Exhaust, for Tank as well as Cable Compartment] of the RMU Switch board during an internal fault shall not be exposed to the effects of Arcing. Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFLR 21 kA for 1 Sec for both Tank & Cable Box. [b] All operations shall be from front of the RMU, including access to cable bushings or as per OEM design as approved by GE and VCBs/LBS shall be suitable for both manual and motorised operation. [c] Construction of Plinth / Foundation for 11KV RMU: The rate quoted is deemed to be including the cost of Plinth / Foundation and shall not be paid as extra on this account. The foundation shall consists of Two Parallel Solid block masonry straight or curved on plan to any radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 of suitable length, suitable thickness and height as per the manufacturer’s instructions over PCC Concrete Bed of 150mm thick in PCC 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate over 150mm thick Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick watered and rolled, over 150mm thick Sand Bed, rendering to brick surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement, applying Three coats of white washing including earthwork excavation complete all as per manufacturer’s recommendations, drawings, as specified and as directed. [d] The rate quoted is also deemed to be including the cost of disconnection of HT Cables up to 3 Core, 240 Sq.mm from existing 2 Pole / 4 Pole Structures/ HT VCBs, removing of cable loop and reconnection to RMU complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [f] The make of RMU/ VCB/ vacuum interrupter/ Relays/ FRTU offered shall be of same make/ OEM approved make. [g] The Contractor shall submit GA drawings of RMU for approval of Accepting Officer before placing order. The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for pre-despatch inspection at manufacturer site or e-testing as directed by Accepting Officer and for pre-commissioning test by SEI/EI/ ESO or any testing officer nominated by HQ CE (A&N) Zone through Accepting Officer in case of non-availability of SEI/EI/ESO after installation of transformer after installation of RMU. The cost for the same is deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply and laying in trenches, fixed on walls, passing through pipes, jointing and testing of electric LT cables, XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables with stranded aluminium conductors 1100 Volts grade of size 3.5C x 400 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed: Note: (i) The rates shall be inclusive of cable lugs at both ends of cable.. (ii) Insulation Resistance value of cable shall be recorded before and after laying of cable.

Material and labour for earthing with galvanised earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level connected to galvanised iron strip 32 mm x 6 mm by means of GI Welding made out of galvanised iron mild steel and 40 mm dia GI pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead, 20 mm dia GI pipe for watering and earth plate surrounded by packed layer of coal and common salt, 15cm thick all around bottom and top, watering pipe of 20 mm bore of light grade with funnel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I (2009) and connecting to earthing test point, main switch board, transformer neutral and testing on completion as directed including earthing pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, pre-cast reinforced cover with MS XPM Jalli, RCC 1:1.5:3 cover slab of size 300 x 300 x 100 mm with one handle made out of 8 mm dia round bar, wire mesh and testing complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling old defective earth pit.

Note: (i) Cost of GI earth Strip and GI protection pipe upto 7.5mtr length shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (ii) The unit rate shall also includes for Wire mesh, funnel, excavation.returninng & filling. PCC chamber pit,RCC cover & test point. (iii) If the desired earth resistance is not achived during testing as per IS the complete earthing shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost and no extra claim shall be admissable.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of LT panel board factory made outdoor type, double door, fabricated out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet, floor mounting, dust and vermine proof, suitable for voltage 415 V 3 Phase 4 wire weather proof, slopy canopy with IP54 protection, with separate hinge door for each compartment for incoming and outgoing switchgears/ACB etc with locking arrangement, with back door openable (Screwed), including painting with two coats of epoxy powder paint over a coat of primer after under going a rigorous metal treatment process involving alkaline degreasing, descaling in dilute sulphuric acid or any other acid and phosphate and with aluminium busbar (TPN), suitable double compression copper cable glands complete in all respect and including PCC work and provn of the following: a) Aluminium Bus bar of rating 2000-A mounted on porcelain insulator - 01 Set ( Set of 4 Nos) with PVC sleeve insulation.

b) Incoming: (i) ACB 1250 Amps, 4P, EDO, 50 Hz, 415 V with minimum rupturing capacity 50 KA, Ics=100%Icu with advanced self powered protection units having adjustable overload setting 40% to100%, Adjustable short circuit and earth fault protection- 01 Nos. c) Outgoing: (i) ACB 1250 Amps, 4P, EDO, 50 Hz, 415 V with minimum rupturing capacity 50 KA, Ics=100%Icu with advanced self powered protection units having adjustable overload setting 40% to100%, Adjustable short circuit and earth fault protection- 01 Nos. d) Digital Voltmeter of rating 0-500 volts with selector switch - 02 No. e) Digital Amp meter of rating 0-1500 Amp, selectable CT seconday as 5/1 A with suitable rating of CT's - 02 Nos (set of three) f) RYB LED indicator- 02 Nos (Set of three) g) 01 No Spare compartment along with bus bar connection shall be provided for fixing of old serviceable ACB. Note :- Cost of interlocking for switching/programming of ACBs and all necessary connected items for this operation as directed shall deemed to be included in quoted rate.
