Construction of masonry valve chamber of size 600X600X750mm internal size, 100mm thick foundation using PCC 1:4:8, type D-2, over 15cm thick hard core, 20cm thick solid block masonry with blocks cast using PCC 1:3:6, type C-1, set in cement mortar 1:4, 15mm thick plaster to internal surfaces and external surfaces up to 15cm below ground level in CM 1:6 and top of floor in CM 1:4, finished even and smooth with out using extra cement, 10 SWG thick MS sheet cover including 40mmX40mmX6mm thick MS angle frame fixed in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 coping with 25mmX6mm flat iron hold fasts, handle, hinges with locking arrangements, applying one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of black bituminious paint to all steel surfaces and earth work in any type of soil including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cutting existing CI pipe line 150mm dia for and including insertion of CI Tee of size 150x150x100mm and specials jointed with lead joints or flanged joints as required at site including necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of Silent engine generating set of capacity 25 KVA or nearest available capacity on higher side, with accoustic enclosure as per CPCB norms 3 phase 4 wire, 415 Volts, 1500 RPM, 0.8 power factor 50 Hz, AC power supply coupled to alternator mounted on common base plate complete with AMF panel fuel tank, battery and standard accessories and fittings, vibration pads, necessary spares as per manufacturer instructions suitable for ambient condition at coastal area and conforming to condition under latest edition of relevant IS & BS comprising of the following and all as specified:-

(A) Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 25 kVA after considering al derating factors as per site conditions at power factor 0.8, AC 3 phase, 4 wire 415 volts 50 cycles, 1500 RPM, self excited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design with hub and sealed ball/roller bearing with winding on each pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of + 1% operated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be conforming to BS 2613/5000 and shall be imposition to generate supply with frequency regulation with in + 3% tolerance, revolving field type.

(B) Diesel Engine:- The engine shall be multi cylinder 4 stroke, 1500 RPM coupled with alternator, radiator, water/coolant cooled turbo charged complete with instrument panel, electronic governor, starting battery with lead, exhaust pipe and silencer pipe with suitable insulation by glass wool and aluminium cladding, sfety devices and other standard fitings etc complete as per IS-10000 Part-II 1980 with an overload capacity of 10% for 1 hour after 12 hours continuous running and to produce suitable BHP to generate above capacity complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation. Salient features of accessories shall be all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Earthing complete with Copper plate electrode of size 600x600x3.15mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and electrode connections by Copper strip of size 20x3mm connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of GI and protected by light grade 40mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or main control board all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion and as directed. [Note: (i) The unit rate shall be deemed to include for excavation & earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, RCC 1:2:4, Type B-1 cover 50mm thick reinforced with 6 Nos 8mm dia TMT bars on both ways, MS handle 12mm dia, CI funnel and wire mesh, GI watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade for watering, Copper earth strip from top of earth plate upto 5m above ground level complete all as directed.
