Water Bound Macadam Base WBM Gr-III CourseProviding, laying, spreading and compacting grading II stone aggregates of specific sizes (63mm to 45mm) conforming to Table 400.8 of MORD for water bound macadam including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying requisite type of screening/binding materials having Liquid limit (LL), Plasticity Index (PI) and passing 75 micron less than 20, 6 and 10% respectively to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate and brooming, watering and compacting to the required density including cost of all materials including lighting, guarding, barricading including cost for hire and operational charges of machinery, tools & plants, including making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side to protect the edges and cost for quality control etc. complete as per technical specification of clause 405 of Specification for Rural Roads , (N.B Variety).

Prime Coat with Bitumen EmulsionProviding and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1 grade) conforming to IS:8887 on prepared surface of granular base (WBM/WMM) including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Technical Specification Clause 502 of Specification for Rural Roads, MORD

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1 grade) conforming to IS:8887 using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.20 to 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Technical Specification Clause 503 of Specification for Rural Roads.

20mm thick Open-Graded Premix Carpet using Bituminous (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm (@ 0.018 cum/sqm) and11.2 mm (@ 0.009cum/sqm) aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades as per Technical Specification Clause 506 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision) including heating the bitumen and preheating the aggregates and all other cost and charges of fuel, lubricants in this connection including hire and operational charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, lighting, guarding, barricading etc. complete.(Using North Bengal vareity)

Seal Coat(Type-B) Providing and laying Liquid seal coat (Type-B) comprising of a application of a layer of bitumenous binder followed by a cover of stone bazree ) with approved quality as stone bazree and bitumen binder on throughly cleaned black top surface, sprading screened and cleaned stone aggregates ( 100% passing through 11.2mm sieve and retained on 2.36mm sieve) uniformly @ 0.09 cum of dry aggregate per 10 sqm of area using suitable means, brushing the chips if necessary, to ensure uniformity , followed by rolling with power roller including the cost and carriage of binder and stone chips, cost of heating the binder and all other incidental charges, cost of fuel and lubricants, including hire charges of machineries, tools and plants required for construction and quality control complte as per clause 508 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision), MORD. .(Using North Bengal vareity)

Maintenance of Hume pipe Culvert. Maintenance of Hume pipe Culvert by way of Clearing, Cleaning, Erosion repair, repairs to cracks, parapet wall and protection work as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1909 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision) including cost of cement, sand, brick, boulders etc.

Maintenance of slab type culvert Maintenance of slab type culvert by way of clearing, cleaning, erosion,repairs to cracks, parapet walls and protection works. Removal of debris, providing boulders and protection work and painting as per technical specification Clause 1909 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision) including cost of all materials viz. cement, sand, bricks, boulders etc. as required and as per direction complete.

Maintenance of 200 metre stone Maintenance of 200 metre stone and km stone by way of refixing of tilted stones, repairing with cement mortar, cleaning, repairing and lettering on 200 metre stone, km stone and 5th km stone as per drawing and Clause 1913 of Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision).

Maintenance of road signs Maintenance of road signs by way of cleaning and repainting of mandatory / regulatory / cautionary / informatory and place identifications sign board as per drawings and direction of Engineering - in- Charge and following Clause 1911 of Specification for Rural Roads.

White washing two coats on parapet walls and tree trunks including preparation of surface by cleaning, scraping etc. as per technical specifications Clause 1916 of Specification for Rural Roads.

Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat 25mm x 5mm size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Supply, fitting and fixing R.C. guard post 1.37 m. long with cement concrete 1:2:4 with graded stone chips of 13.2 mm down (of approved quality) casting, curing complete including cost of providing 4 Nos. of 12 mm dia MS rods of length 1.54 m as main reinforcement and 6 Nos. of round shaped 6 mm dia MS rods used as binders; the placing of the 1st binder should be at 75 mm below the top finished surface and the other 5 Nos. of binders should be placed at 245 mm C/C ; the guard post is of octagonal section with inscribed circle of diameter 24 cm at the base tapering to corresponding dimensions of 16 cm at the top including 2 coats of painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand to form 6 Nos. horizontal alternate bands in white/tannery yellow and black to 90 cm. Length standing up above ground after mending good damages if any during striking of shuttering, making hole in ground of 47 cm depth and 30 cm minimum dia, fixing the guard post in the same hole and repacking the earth thoroughly so as to keep the guard post standing properly erect in correct position true to line and length including carriage of R.C. guard post with due care to the site including loading into the truck and unloading at site complete in all respect.
