(a) Anti termite treatment to bottom surface ( in case of masonry foundation and basements) and the sides (upto a height of 300 mm. from bottom) of the excavation trenches with chemical emulsion by admixing chloropyrofos emulsifiable concentrates (1% concentration) with water by weight at the rate of 5 Litres per sq. m. area. The work shall be carried out as per specification described in 6.2.1. of code IS 6313 (part -II) 1981. (Mode of measurment will be the plan area of foundation treated.)

(c) Anti-termite treatment to the soil under floor with chemical emulsion by admixing chloropyrofos emulsifiable concentrate (1% concentration) with water by weight including drilling vertically 12mm. dia holes at the junction of floor and wall at 300mm. interval to reach the soil below using hand operated pressure pump to squirt chemical emulsion into the pump to squirt chemical emulsion into the holes at the rate of one litre per hole. The holes shall be sealed after operation to match with the existing floor. The entire work is to be carried out as per specification laid down in para 4.3.1.4 of code I.S.-6313 (Part-III)- 1981.

(A) Filling in foundation or plinth by fine sand/ fine sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity)

Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.

Cement concrete with graded stone ballast (40 mm size) excluding shuttering ground floor and foundation with Proportion(6:3:1) (B) With Pakur Variety stone metal.

Controlled Cement concrete with well graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement with complete design of concrete as per IS : 456 and relevant special publications, submission of job mix formula after preliminary mix design after testing of concrete cubes as per direction of Engineer-in charge. Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor). (a) 25 mm to 30 mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

M.S. structural works with hollow sections (square or rectangular shape) conforming to IS: 806-1968 & IS:1161-1998) connected to one another with bracket, gusset, cleat as per design, drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete including cutting to requisite shape & size, fabrication including metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816-1969 & IS: 9595 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of all M.S. Hollow section, all consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charges of all tools and plants and labour reqired for execution and all incidental chages (such as electricity, labour insurance) etc. complete. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural memebrs of MS Holow Section as specified in relevent IS code in finished work. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat may be made by adding the actual weight of such items with weight of finished structural members. The rates are considered for a hight of erection 8 m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5 % extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond the initial 8 m. or part thereof. Moorum Road Works

B. Compacting original ground supporting embankment Loosening, Leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per Clause 305.3.4 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Earth work in cutting to from road section in correct profile including removal of soils not exceeding initial lead of 50 mtr and initial lift of 1.5 mtr in Ordinary soil.

Supplying, spreading and consolidating Moorum to a depth of 75 mm at desired density and C.B.R. as per specification with power roller to proper gradient and camber including watering as necessary, and lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary to protect the edges and curing with water for 2 to 3 days, mending cracks by rolling where necessary including all incidental charges of roller, cost of fuel & lubricants etc. complete as per specification.
