Earth work in excavation of foundation trenchesor drains, in all sorts of soil(including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sand stone)including removing spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing & ramming the bottom, bailing out water etc. as required complete. a) Depth of excavation not exeeding 1500mm

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete (A) with earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. measurement of finished quantity)(payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity)

Single brick flat soiling of picked Jhama bricks including removing & dressing bed to proper level & filling joints with local sand.

(I) Cement concrete with graded stone ballast (40 mm size excluding shuttering) In ground floor (A) [Pakur Variety] (a) 1:3:6 proportion

Ordinary cement concrete mix (1:2:4) with graded stone chips(20mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, In Gr. Floor as per relevant IS Codes. Pakur variety.

Ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips(20mm.nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, as per relevant IS-codes Pakur variety.

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc. initial straightening and removal of loose rust(if necessary,) cutting to requisite length, hooking & bending to correct shape, placing in proper position & binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every inter section complete as per drawing and direction. a) For work in foundation & upto roof of ground floor/upto 4m. Hire & labour charges of shuttering with centering & necessary staging upto 4m. using approved stout props and thick hard planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs beams, columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting & striking out after completion of work.(Upto the roof of ground floor) a) 25mm to 30mm thick wooden shuttering without staging in foundation

(b) 25 mm to 30 mm thick woodenwith staging shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (6:1) i) In foundation & plinth

125mm thick brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar(1:4). In ground floor

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand & cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out, joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/ staging where necessary.(Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface) with 6:1 cement mortar a) For outer wall. 15mm thick plaster i) In ground floor

Neat cement punning about 1.5 mm. thick in wall, dado, window sills, floor, drain etc. Note: Cement 0.152 cum per 100sqm

Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC.

Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. i) In ground floor

Priming one coat on steel or other metal surfacewith synthetic enamel/oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surface by sand papering etc.

A) Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paints of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary. i) On steel or other metal surface, with super gloss (hi-gloss) two coats(with any shade except white).

M.S. gate of Jail type as per approved design made of strong M.S. framework, intermediate stiffners and round/ square bars or angles. M.S. sheet (not less than 14 gauge) gussets, cleats etc. including necessary rivetting, bolting, welding, locking and hanging arrangements, fitting and fixing complete as per direction of the E-in-Charge. In ground floor.

M.S. Structual works in columns, beams, chequered plate etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g.Joists, angles, channel sections conforming to IS:226, IS:808 & SP(6)-1964 connected to one another with brackets, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of E-in-Charge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS:816-1956 & IS:1955 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814-1957, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The cost includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work required including all incidental charges such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. For structural members of specified sections weighing less than 22.5Kg/m (Payment will be made as per the schedule)
