Making flange joints in the pipe line (C.I./D.I.) with the supply of nuts & bolts with washer rubber insertion 6 kg./m.sq. 1/8 gauge and other materials required etc. all complete incl. making joints holes, shuttering, planking dewatering the trenches and supply of all complete as per direction of E.I.C.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 mtr. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams, columns lintels curved or straight including fitting fixing and striking out after completion of works.

Hydraulically testing of different type (D.I./C.I./A.C.) of pipe in section by hand pump or pump and the proposed field testing to check the quality of workmanship of pipeline and the quality of pipe.The test pressure shall be kept 1.5 times to the actual operating pressure (i,e the test pressure recomended by I.S.I. for corresponding pipe materials whether the gauge pressure will remain static for 30 minutes by filling water including supply of necessary equipment such as generator set/ pump,gauge, air compressor in-section along with as specified in the specification including providing blank flange duly stiffened with angle or joint section on either side of the pipe line and necessary equipment, and supply of water will be necessary for testing work including disposal of water after testing etc. all complete as per direction of E.I.C. ( When department will supply water for test, the rate will be reduced @ 33% from the following rate )

Disinfection of distribution line (A.C./C.I./D.I.) by flashing with water containing bleaching powder @ 56 mg. per liter of water and cleaning the same with fresh water.The water should remain in the main for a minimum period of 24 hours. The bleaching powder solution will be applied continuously for a period of time, to provided column of chlorinated water in contact with all inner surface of the main for a period of at least 3 hours operation. ( To be repeated twice )( The D.C.M. brand bleaching powder and water will be supplied by the agency )

Earth work in excavation in foundation trenches or drains in all sorts of soil including removing spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75mtr. as directed including trimming the sides of trenches leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water etc. as required complete

Depth of excavation not exceeding 1.50mtr. but not required shoring .

Making socket joint to C.I.S.S. pipe/specials and valves with lead and yarn including making joints,dewatering trenches as per specification and direction of the E.I.C.

150 mm. dia. pipeline with 3.99 Kg. Lead and 0.20 kg. Yarn to each joint.

M.S. work in brackets made from flats, angles, tees etc to sizes specially bent, twisted, forged, making holes drilling and fitted to rafter of trusses with necessary bolts, nuts, washers or screws etc (length of straight not less than 230mm.)

Carriage of departmental materials (All types of valves,cement,rod etc.) from Siliguri store to work site including loading unloading and stacking properly all charges complete as per direction of E.I.C. and to return the surplus materials to the departmental store at Siliguri as per direction of E.I.C. Distance considered - 15 K.M.

Supplying, laying, fitting fixing and jointing of U.P.V.C class- III pipes ( as per I.S. 4985 – 2000 ), pressure not less than 6 Kg/sq cm. with solvent cement joint ( as per I.S. 14182 -1994 ) including supply of fabricated P.V.C. fittings ( as per I.S. 101 -1988 ) including fitting and fixing with C.I/A.C. pipes, valves, specials etc. where necessary including required sand cushioning & cost of all ancillary works connected in aligning positioning & fixing all pipes, specials & valves etc. up to an average depth of 1M over top of the pipes so as to maintain throughout the length of the pipe line including cutting trenches in all types of soil and back filling the trenches in layers with excavated materials including hydraulic testing, disinfection and washing of pipe line complete as per direction of E.I.C. ( solvent cement along with specials & valves upto 63mm O.D. for U.P.V.C. pipeline to be supplied by the agency and valves above 63mm O.D. will be supplied by the Deptt. )

Construction of masonry sluice valve chember, wash out chamber as per departmental drawing no.32/NBC/DC/PHE/9-97 with brickwork in cement morter (6:1) including earth work in excavation, 100 mm thick (6:3:1) cement concrete with 30 mm down graded shingles in foundation, 100 mm thick precast R.C.C. slab with ordinary cement concrete (Mix. 1:1.5:3), shuttering, reinforcement work and other materials as per departmental drawing complete with supply & fitting fixing of 150 mm X 150 mm C.I. surface box embedded into the prescast slab and overhauling the valve if necessary, all complete including cost of all labour and materials (only valves & tail pieces will be supplied from local departmental store) For -

Supplying, fitting and fixing G.I. pipes of TATA make with all necessary accessories, specials viz. socket, bend, tee, union, cross, elbo, nipple, longscrew, reducing socket, reducing tee, short piece etc. fitted with holder bats clamps, including cutting pipes, making threads, fitting, fixing etc. complete in all respect including cost of all necessary fittings as required,jointing materials and two coats of painting with approved paint in any position above ground. (Payment will be made on the centre line measurements of total pipe line including all specials. No separate payment will be made for accesories, specials. Payment for painting will be made seperately)

Dismantling all types of plain cement concrete works, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. (above 150 mm thick).

Supplying, fitting & fixing in position G.I. pipes of TATA make for underground works with all necessary accessories, specials viz. socket, bend, tee, union, cross, elbo, nipple, short piece etc. , including cost of all materials , cutting pipes, making threads,cutting trenches upto 1.5 metre below surface in all sorts of soil and refilling the same as directed with two coats of painting on G.I. pipes and speacials with bituminous paint complete in all respect. (payment will be made on the center line measurements of total pipe line including all specials. No separate payment will be made for accessories, specials.)
