Providing support on advanced gaseous detector system i.e. GEM & RPC including precision assembly, readout electronics, precision mechanical system and GRID computing etc at VECC, Kolkata as per following description and sub-items for carrying out operation in each category of worker : A. Providing round the clock handling of bakelite RPC, GEM detectors, handling of gas system, gluing of the chambers, painting, assembly, testing, soldering and monitoring work, regular monitoring for Grid & Computing system work etc. also operation of equipments and accessories as and when required, assistance for micro pattern detector work assembly and testing work, electronics assembly, testing and development, CAD & PCB design assistance for detector and readout electronics, Computer based other job assistance as directed and instructed by Engr. in charge, Grid Computing Facility Lab., VECC. B. Providing support to arrange/upkeep the ATG office, ESD & Medical Cyclotron office at the 1st floor of Raja Ramana Research Scholar’ Wing, VECC. 1. Support for typing documents using P.C. 2. Keeping/organizing/arranging all documents in the office in a manner for easy access. 3. Delivering/collection of documents to/from various persons/agencies/offices within and outside VECC campus in connection with Medical Cyclotron Facility, Chakgaria, Kolkata, Rajarhat New Campus, CESC, WBSEB, West Bengal Fire Service, Kolkata Municipality Corporation etc. and computer based other job assistance at ATG, ESD & MCP office at VECC, Kolkata as per direction of Smt. Sudhesna Seth, RF Section, VECC, Engineer in charge of the work. C. Providing computational support towards data logging, arranging files, documents, papers, faxes, distribution/collection of instruments, collection & distribution of various papers/documents and sending daks of various offices in VECC Campus etc. and assisting to maintain C&I Group office by providing support as directed and instructed by Dr. Sarbajit Pal, Head, C&I Group, VECC.

Providing miscellaneous works comprising of computational support towards preparing contingency bills and also collection & distribution of various papers/documents & sending daks of various offices in VECC Campus, Xerox operation, rearranging of filing cabinets and shifting of records and assisting to maintain office by providing support at the Director’s Office, VECC, Kolkata as directed and instructed by the PA to Director, VECC, Kolkata for following sub-item.
