Bituminous Macadam using Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty): Providing and laying bituminous macadam with Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) using approved crushed aggregates of specified grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site laid over a previously prepared surface at specified laying temperature by means of approved and suitable arrangements to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled with suitable power roller for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling as per specification to achieve the desired compaction including cost and carriage of stone materials and bitumen, hire charges of machinery and equipment, cost of fuel and lubricants and wages of operational staff, quality control complete as per Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). B. For Grading II (19 mm nominal size, 50 mm thick.)

Seal Coat: Providing and laying Liquid Seal Coat (Type A) with approved quality stone chips and bitumen binder on thoroughly cleaned black top surface, spreading screened & cleaned stone aggregates (100 % passing through 11.2 mm sieve and retained on 2.36 mm sieve) uniformly @ 0.09 m3 of dry aggregate per 10 m2 of area using suitable means, brushing the chips, if necessary, to ensure uniformity, followed by rolling with power roller including the cost and carriage of binder and stone chips, cost of heating the binder and all other incidental charges, cost of fuel and lubricants, including hire charges of machineries, tools & plants required for construction and quality control complete as per Clause 511 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). I. By Mechanical Means (i) With Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (@ 15 kg / 10 sqm.)

Spreading of sand over the bituminous surface @ 0.003 m3 per m2 of surface from the road side stacks and carriage of the same up to a distance of 150 m from stack complete including cost of sand.

Open-Graded Premix Surfacing using Bituminous (Viscosity grade Paving Bitumen / Modified bitumen) Binder and Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty):- Providing, laying and rollinf of Open – graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm (@ 0.018 m3 per m2) and 11.2 mm (@ 0.009 m3 per m2) size stone aggregates, including thoroughly cleaning of the surface, screening, cleaning and pre-heating stone chips and fully pre-coating the same either using viscosity grade paving bitumen or cut-back or emulsion, carrying the mixture by any suitable arrangements, lying the mixture uniformly over the surface, including line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) and thoroughly rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades including the cost and carriage of stone chips and matrix, heating the matrix, preheating the aggregates to required temperature and including the hire charges of Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) and other machinery, pay of operators, cost of fuel and lubricants etc. complete to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 for Rural Roads of MORD.

Development of area/flank dressing and making kutcha drain etc. on both side of existing bituminous road including shifting of earth, debris etc. by engaging earth moving machine i.e. JCB, tractors, dumpers, hydra etc. as required complete.

Labour for laying 150 mm (approximate finished thickness) boulder soling including rough dressing, breaking, necessary hand packing nd ramming down small stone pieces in the interstices including rolling and preparing bed toproper level and camber with necessary cushioning over bed and ultimate filling of voids with moorum or sands or kiln rubbish including cost of all materials but excluding cost of boulder.

Loading, unloading, spreading and consolidating Moorum to a depth of 75 mm at desired density and C.B.R. as per specification with power roller to proper gradient and camber including watering as necessary, and lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary to protect the edges and curing with water for 2 to 3 days, mending cracks by rolling where necessary including all incidental charges of roller, cost of fuel & lubricants etc. complete as per specification.

Flushing the joints (at least 4 cm depth) in the top surface of boulders with cement concrete 1: 3: 6 and/or cement mortar 1: 6 as necessary including raking out and clearing the joints.

Supply of Grade I (63-45mm size) stone aggregates incl. Loading, Unloading & stacking at site.
