The required prior work experience for the bidder varies depending on the call of NIT. For the first Call of NIT, the bidder should produce credentials of at least 1 completed work of similar nature of minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years. Alternatively, the bidder can produce credentials of at least 2 completed works of similar nature, each having a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender. For the 2nd Call of NIT, the bidder should produce credentials of at least 1 completed work of similar nature of minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years. Alternatively, the bidder can produce credentials of at least 2 completed works of similar nature, each having a minimum value of 25% of the estimated amount put to tender. For the 3rd Call of NIT, the bidder should produce credentials of at least 1 completed work of similar nature of minimum value of 20% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years. In case of running works, the bidder should have completed at least 80% of the work for the first Call of NIT, 75% for the 2nd Call of NIT, and 70% for the 3rd Call of NIT, with a value not less than the desired value mentioned above. For an estimated amount put to tender of 3,47,35,619.00, the minimum value of similar work completed should be 40% of this amount, which is 1,38,94,247.60. The bidder should also have an average annual turnover from contracting business during any 3 financial years within the last 5 years, which should be at least 50% of the amount put to tender for the first Call of NIT, 40% for the 2nd Call of NIT, and 30% for the 3rd Call of NIT.
