Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used). (d) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge laid in herring bone pattern on a layer of brick flat (thickness 75 mm. plus 125 mm)

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction . (b) Where staging is not required.

(a) Where staging is required

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1.5:3) / M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitable means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost. Including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and and reinforcement if any.

Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm. diameter and upto 7.5 cm. diameter. (Dia. to be measured at mid length).

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. (a) Where boats are not necessary.

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm.)

Supplying fitting, fixing Darma mat in flowing or stagnant water or in dry areas with 16 SWG GI wire as per direction of the Engineerr-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (upto 3.0 m depth) (i) With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Earthwork in filling in foundation trenches with good earth in layers not exceeding 15cm. including watering and ramming layer by layer complete with earth obtained from excavation of foundation or from fresh excavation of land arranged by Department within a lead of 150 m.

Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

First class Brick work in cement sand mortar in steining of well, pier, abutment, wing wall, parapetsb cross drain. H.P. culverts, guard wall etc. including curing, scaffolding, raking out joints etc. complete including cost and carriage of all materials. (a) In 1:4 proportion.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface] With Mortar Mix- 1:4 (a) 20mm thick plaster

Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick in wall, dado, window sill, floor etc. NOTE:Cement 0.152 cu.m per100 sq.m.

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry / Plain / Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall / return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and Technical specifications

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Extra rate over Item No. 1.01 for all kinds of soil for every additional lift of 1.50 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lift of 1.50 metre.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in charge within a lead of, NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking. (A) Beyond 500 metre and upto 1.00 km

Supplying laying fitting & fixing R.C.C. spun pipes and collars with cement mortar (1:3) including fixing the pipes collars with jute, pitch etc. including the cost and carriage of spun pipes at site excluding the cost of collars. (a)Spun pipe-300 dia,NP-2 Grade

Supplying R.C.C.spun pipes collars including loading, carriage, unloading at site a) Collar-300 dia, NP-2 Grade.

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.

Fine dressing and making the crest to correct camber and gtrade by cutting and filling earth where necessary including extra earth.

Providing & fixing Concrete Sign Board as per IRC specification of size 900 x 750 x 37 mm. thick made with RCC 1:1½:3 with pakur variety stone chips reinforced with double layer IRC febric (75 x 75 mm. mesh) and fixed with necessary nuts & bolts on two RC precast posts 100 mm. x 150 mm. of height 2.65 m. of which top 750 mm. is of section 100 x 13 mm. and 1.90 metre above GL & 0.75 metre below GL including digging hole, repacking the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 with jhama khoa or with local stone chips etc. complete including painting two coats on both faces lettering sign marks etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.)
