Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering including lighting, guarding, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling, including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machinery and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (ii)Grading-II Aggregate (53 mm to 22.4 mm) Using Stone Screening Type B (11.2 mm) (75 mm thick one layer)

Box cutting in road embankment in all kinds of soil and spreading the soil uniformely over the flanks and consolidating and dressing the subgrade to correct camber and grade.

Construction of Sub Base on prepared surface using local materials After mixing by mix in place method at OMC, with suitable mixing equipments and spreading in uniform layer with spreading equipments capable of mixing the materials to the desired digree and spreading the mix materials uniformly according to required line and level including screening the materials as necessary to the satisfaction of the EIC and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, lighting, guarding and barricading including cost and carriage of all materials and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre wide on each side to protect the edges complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) For Construction of Sub Base by compacting 1st class brick aggregates (40 mm down) and Medium sand ( in proportion of 60:40).

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction (b) Where staging is not required

Controlled Cement Concrete with well graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement with complete design of concrete as per IS : 456 and relevent special publications , submission of job mix formula after preliminery mix design after testing of concrete cubes as per direction on Engineer in Charge . Consumption of cement will not be lwss then 320 kg of cement with super plasticiser per cubic meter of controlled concrete but actual consumption will be determined on the basis of preliminery test and job mix formula . Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight

Supplying,dressing & staking at site bamboo pins above 5 c.m diametre & upto 7.5 cm diametre.(Dia to be measured at mid length.)

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. A) Where boats are not necessary

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm.)

Labour for driving Sal bullah / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. (ii) 125 mm diameter

Labour for fitting and fixing 10 cm. to 13 cm. diameter Sal-bullah/Eucalyptus-bullah as ties and runners including necessary nails, bolts and nuts.

Coal tarring on wooden surfaces including cost of materials. a) One Coat

Supplying of empty cement polythene bags in good condition.

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of filling materials, (Earth or sand) and gunny bags.

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, N.B.-Measurement to be taken on the basis of Stack Masurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for Stacking. (a) Between 500 metre and 1 Km

Direction and Place Identification Signs with Size more then 0.9 sqm size board. Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro- reflectorised sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm, 2 Nos. firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)..

Printing new letter and figures of any shade with synthetic enamel paint black or any other approved colour to give an even shade as per drawings andmTechnical Specification Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). ii) English and Roman
