Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris. (a) Single brick flat soling

Box cutting in road embankment in all kinds of soil and spreading the soil uniformely over the flanks and considerating and dressing the subgrade to correct camber and grade.

Labour for breaking 1/2 Bricks or Full Bricks (Old / New) into metal / Khoa / chips as per specific size and stacking the same at site or stackyard with due allowance of sinkage / shrinkage as per direction of the Engineer in charge. (b) Khoa Size 32 mm to 25 mm

Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface, including screening the metal as necessary, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, lighting, guarding and barricading including cost and carriage of all materials and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre wide on each side to protect the edges complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. (d) Double brick flat soling (thickness 150 mm.)

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction . (b) Where staging is not required.

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1.5:3) / M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitable means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost. Including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and and reinforcement if any.

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.

Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. Note: Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5m from the thicker end. (iii) 15 cm av. Diameter

Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles (iii) 15 cm av. Diameter

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete with cost of all materials and carriage to site. (a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm.and less than 15cm (i) Jhaw / Eucalyptus.

Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm. diameter and upto 7.5 cm. diameter. (Dia. to be measured at mid length).

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. (a) Where boats are not necessary.

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm.)

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition.

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of filling materials, (Earth or sand) and gunny bags.

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Extra rate over Item Nos 20.00 for all kinds of soil for every additional lift of 1.50 metre or part thereof beyond the initial lift of 1.50 metre.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within B) Beyond 1Km and upto 2.00 km

Fine dressing and making the crest to correct camber and gtrade by cutting and filling earth where necessary including extra earth.

Construction Sign Board with 0.45 x 0.60 m ( height ) granite slab of 15-18 mm th Engraving the lettering over it as directed by the E.I.C fitting and fixing complete over brick masonary ( with 4:1 cement morter ) platform covered with 4:1 sand-cement plaster with neat cement punning all complete as per direction & design supplied by the E.I.C

Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). i) 90 cm equilateral triangle

Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)..
