Labour charges for screw driving the R.C.C. pre-cast piles depth of minimum 8.O M upto 9.00 M below bed level as decided by the Engineer-in-charge in tidal riverholds and hoisting the piles using pully fitted to the monorail gentry girder or any other Suitable arrangement for avoiding any damage of the R.C.C. precast piles fixed with special type screw cutter with M.S. collar with fixing steel pin including placing the same on pin points position with the help of pile guide monorail gantry girder or any other arrangement by hoisting capstain manually including cost of hire charge of barge, chain pully, lunch and other machineries, supplying of fuel etc. (Engineer-in-charges reserves the right to reject the pile if the pile is out of plumb beyond the permissible limit or due to breaking cracking and any sort of damages) including mobilization all pants & machineries for erecting & driving the piles as per drawing and design & specification etc. complete. (for Pre-Cast R.C.C. Pile Jetty in Sundarban Region only)

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose(ifany), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent tocorrect shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Labour charges for carrying the precast R.C.C. Piles, girder, deck slab, step & other components from casting yard / barge hold by the arrangement of chainpully or any other method fitted & fixed over the barge, without damaging the components including hoisting in proper position and lowering down and placing in position with the help of chain pully or any other method & fitted & fixed properly over the piles in tidal river including hiring charge of barge, launch / best etc. and fitted & fixed in proper position setting etc. complete (Engineer-in-charge reserve the right to reject the components if it breaks, cracks and damage etc.) (for Pre-Cast R.C.C. Pile Jetty in Sundarban Region only)

Providing heavy duty dense rubber fender of approved quality fitted & fixed in position as per drawing. a) 250 mm. dia x 150 mm. long. (for Pre-Cast R.C.C. Pile Jetty in Sundarban Region only)

Providing & fixing Concrete Sign Board as per IRC specification of size 900 X 750 x 37 mm. thick made with RCC 1:1.5:3 with pakur variety stone chips reinforced with double layer IRC febric (75 x 75 mm. mesh) and fixed with necessary nuts & bolts on two RC precast posts 100 mm. x 150 mm. of height 2.65 m. of which top 750 mm, is of section 100 x 13 mm. and 1.90 metre above GL & 0.75 metre below GL including digging hole, repacking the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 with jhama khoa or with local stone chips etc. complete including painting two coats on both faces lettering sign marks etc. as per direction of the Engineer-ln-Charge. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.)

Earthwork from borrow pits for making embankment or for repairs to embankment within an initial lead of 30 metre and an lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cms. layers and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile. b) Where land for earth owned/arranged by the contractor.

Extra rate over Item No-1 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30metres.

Earthwork in excavation In all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking A) Beyond 500 metre and upto 1.00 km

B) Beyond 1.00 km and upto 2.00 km

C) Beyond 2.00 km and upto 3.00 km

Box cutting In road embankment In all kinds of soil and spreading the soil uniformely over the flanks and considerating and dressing the subgrade to correct camber and grade.

Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in bard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction.

Brick soling/Pavement with 1st. class picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with the brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling and in between two layers. (f) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge laid in herring bone pattern over a layer of brick flat (thickness 125 mm plus 75 mm.)

Providing and laying pre-cast brick block pitching of required size (53 Cm. x 53 Cm, x 25 Cm. or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge ) with 1st class kiln burnt bricks in cement mortar including flush pointing on all faces except exposed face which to be plastered with 19 m.m. thick cement plaster , curing, dressing, ramming & preparing subgrade in slopes & bed complete with necessary earth Work not exceeding 300 mm in depth with all leads & lifts including cost of all materials/ blocks up to site by all means of transport. The gap between adjacent blocks will not be more than 10 m.m. (Sand, cement mortar mix for making blocks, pointing & plastering is1:4)

Making filter with well graded 40 mm down ballasts and laying uniformly behind weep holes, below pitching on bed, side slopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earthwork up to 30 cm depth, where necessary and compacting with wooden malllet after laying to achieve designed section as per direction of the Engineer- in - Charge (measurements will be on finished work / in stack after deducting necessary void). b) 1st class brick ballast

Labour charges for providing filter with well graded 40 m.m. down stone metal / shingles and laying uniformly below pitching on bed, side slopes including preparing bed with earthwork up to 30 cm depth, where necessary and compacting as per direction of the Engineer- in - Charge and including all leads and lifts complete but excluding the cost of supply and carriage of stone metals up to site.

Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. a) Ordinary soil / local soil / soil mixed with moorum or kankar / silt, dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.

First class Brick work in cement sand mortar in steining of well, pier, abutment, wing wall, parapets cross drain. H.P. culverts, guard wall etc. including curing, scaffolding, raking out joints etc. complete including cost and carriage of all materials. a) In 1:4 proportion.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface] ii) With 1:4 cement mortar a) 20 mm thick plaster

Neat cement punning about 1.5 mm thick in wall,dado,window sill,floor etc. NOTE :- Cement 0.152 cu.m per 100 sq.m.

Supplying fitting and fixing street light with 80 mm G.I. pipe (4.0m long) and necessary fittings including all cost of materials, light, battery and others equipments and labour charges for fitting as per direction of Engineer- in-Charge. (LED 1 Street Light PV Module: 35W Panel Solar Charging full sunlight : 8Hrs. ; Battery Capacity: 5200 mAh. ; Battery nominal voltage : 14.8 V )
