Earthwork for making embankments or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. including supply and carriage of earth by truck or cart or by other conveyance over land, including loading, transporting & unloading all lifts bothways and head load where necessary complete within a total lead of, NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking A) Beyond 510 metre and upto 1.00 Km

Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. Brick-on-end-edging (250 mm) depth

Extra rate over Item Nos.17 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metres.

Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris (a) Single brick flat soling

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction b) where staging is not requied

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Labour Welfare Cess @ 1%

Box cutting in road embankment in all kinds of soil and spreading the soil uniformely over the flanks and consolidating and dressing the subgrade to correct camber and grade.

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1½:3)/M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitable means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost, including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and and reinforcement if any.

Labour for taking out brick-on-end edging including removing debris to flank or berm sorting out serviceable materials and stacking.

Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. Note: Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5m from the thicker end. (i)10 cm dia.

(ii)12.5 cm dia.

Supplying RCC spun pipe collars including loading , carriage , unloading at site. a)Collar-600 dia, NP2 Grade

Labour for fitting and fixing 10 cm. to 13 cm. diameter Eucalyptus Bullah as ties and runners including nails , boults and nuts .

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of filling materials, (Earth or sand) and gunny bags.

Labour for driving Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. (ii) 125 mm diameter

Labour for taking out brick-on-edge of herring bone bond including removing debris to flank or berm sorting out serviceable materials and stacking.

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition

Add GST @ 18% (CGST+SGST)

Supplying,laying ,fitting &fixing R.C.C spun pipes and collers with cement morter (1:3) including fixing the pipes collers with jute,pitch etc. including the cost and carriage of spun pipes at site excluding the cost of collars. a) Spun pipes-600 dia, NP-2 Grade

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. (f) soling on dry pavement with one brick on edge laid in hearring bone pattern over a layer of brick flat(thickness 125 mm plus 75 mm)

Providing & fixing Concrete Sign Board as per IRC specification of size 900 X 750 x 37 mm. thick made with RCC 1:1½:3 with pakur variety stone chips reinforced with double layer IRC febric (75 x 75 mm. mesh) and fixed with necessary nuts & bolts on two RC precast posts 100 mm. x 150 mm. of height 2.65 m. of which top 750 mm, is of section 100 x 13 mm. and 1.90 metre above GL & 0.75 metre below GL including digging hole, repacking the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 with jhama khoa or with local stone chips etc. complete including painting two coats on both faces lettering sign marks etc. as per direction of the Engineer-ln-Charge. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.)
