Labour for laying brick edging (75 mm wide) with departmental brick laid true to line and level including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both sides of tlie edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly. Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) (d) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge laid in herring bone pattern on a layer of brick flat (thickness 75 mm. plus 125 mm)

Supplying Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles at work site, including dressing and making one end pointed. Note: Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5m from the thicker end. (i)10 cm av. dia.

Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles (ii) 12.5 cm av diameter

Labour for fitting and fixing with half split bullah wailing pieces and cross pieces etc. complete including the cost of half nails only. Complete as per the direction of the Engineer In Charge . Jhaw/ Eucalyptus (a) Width of thinner end above 10 cm. and less then 15 cm.

Coal tarring on wooden surfaces including cost of materials a) One Coat

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of filling materials, (Earth or sand) and gunny bags.

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1½:3) / M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitabfe means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost, including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and and reinforcement if any.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction a) where staging is not requied

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking. A) Beyond 500 metre and upto 1.00 km

B) Beyond 1.00 km and upto 2.00 km

Fine dressing and making the crest to correct camber and grade by cutting and filling earth where necessary including extra earth.

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.

Supplying laying fitting & fixing R.C.C. spun pipes and collars with cement mortar (1:3) including fixing the pipes collars with jute, pitch etc. including the cost and carriage of spun pipes at site excluding the cost of collars. (a) Spun pipe-300 dia, NP-2 Grade

Supplying R.C.C.spun pipes collars including loading, carriage, unloading at site. a)Collar-300 dia, NP-2 Grade.

Providing & fixing Concrete Sign Board as per IRC specification of size 900 X 750 x 37 mm. thick made with RCC 1:1½:3 with pakur variety stone chips reinforced with double layer IRC febric (75 x 75 mm. mesh) and fixed with necessary nuts & bolts on two RC precast posts 100 mm. x 150 mm. of height 2.65 m. of which top 750 mm, is of section 100 x 13 mm. and 1.90 metre above GL & 0.75 metre below GL including digging hole, repacking the same with cement concrete 1:3:6 with jhama khoa or with local stone chips etc. complete including painting two coats on both faces lettering sign marks etc. as per direction of the Engineer-ln-Charge. (The rate is inclusive of cost of reinforcement, concrete, shuttering, nuts & bolts, washer etc. complete.)
