The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed or substantially completed similar works during the last 07 years. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s): (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for. Each non-lead member of a joint venture (JV) should have a technical capacity of minimum 10% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria, and should have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the cost of any component of work. The value of a completed work done by a member in an earlier JV shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV. In case of newly formed partnership firm, the credentials of individual partners from previous propriety firm(s) or dissolved previous partnership firm(s) or split previous partnership firm(s), shall be considered only to the extent of their share in previous entity on the date of dissolution / split and their share in newly formed partnership firm. For example, a partner A had 30% share in previous entity and his share in present partnership firm is 20%. The credentials of partner A will be considered to the extent of 0.3*0.2*value of the work done in the previous entity. The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the average annual contractual turnover, which should be at least 'V/N' or 'V' whichever is less. Here, 'V' represents the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees, and 'N' represents the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. The amount of Rs 10 crore is mentioned as an example of credentials, and in case a partner quits, the credentials of the remaining partnership firm shall remain, for example, Rs 6 crore. The bidder, specifically non-lead members of a Joint Venture (JV), must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 10% of the advertised value of the tender. This means that each non-lead member of the JV must have completed a similar work worth at least 10% of the tender's advertised value. The value of a completed work done by a member in an earlier JV shall be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV.
