Protective work with walling with Eucalyptus Bullah 1.80 m (Ava.) high on pilling 150 mm dia. & 4.50 m long driven 2.70 m below G.L. & 350 mm centre to centre including fitting, fixing of 3 nos. half split bullah pieces (100 mm dia.) including cost of necessary nails, bolts, nuts etc… & providing 2.5 m long half bullah ties (100 mm dia.) @ 2.25 m centre to centre fixed with 1.65 m long tie post driven 1.50 m below G.L. including cost of all machineries, materials, nails, bolts, nuts etc. labour required for the work & cost of Coal tarring (two coats) over the all bullah surfaces complete as per direction of the EIC.

Supplying empty Cement bags in good condition & Filling empty Cement bags with dry carried earth @ 0.0283 Cu.M./Bag (considering a lead of 4.00 Km. by mechanical transport) stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete. The rate includes the cost of compensation of land, cost of Royalty & Cess. During initial payment, a sum of Rs. 29.00/ Cu.M. & Rs. 5.30/Cu.M. of equivalent quantity of borrow pit of earth is to be deducted from the bill as Royalty & Cess respectively, which will paid separately on production of Royalty & Cess clearance certificate from the competent authority.

Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. Depth upto 300 mm.

Compacting Original Ground: Compacting original ground supporting subgrade Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm below the subgrade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for subgrade construction as per Clause 305.3.4 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying, spreading and compacting Silver Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary. The compaction factor for dry clean Silver sand may be taken as 0.835.

Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials: Construction of Sub Base using Local Materials, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface, including screening the metal as necessary, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, lighting, guarding and barricading including cost and carriage of all materials and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre wide on each side to protect the edges complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Construction of Sub Base by compacting 1st class brick aggregates @ 0.45 Cu.M./Cu.M. ( Deptt. Supply) @ 0.45 Cu.M./Cu.M. ( Agency. Supply) and Medium Sand @ 0.48 Cu.M./Cu.M. ( Agency. Supply)

Water Bound Macadam Sub Base: Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal / Laterite chelly or stone metal / shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal (63 mm to 45 mm) @ 0.545 Cu.M./Cu.M. ( Deptt. Supply) @ 0.545 Cu.M./Cu.M. ( Agency. Supply) with Moorum Screening @ 0.26 Cu.M./Cu.M. ( Agency. Supply)

Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. Brick-on-end edging (250 mm) depth.

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. Single brick flat soling (thickness 75 mm.)

Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. In Ground floor (Two Coat). Premium 100% Acrylic Emulsion

Hire and labour charges for 100mm dia bamboo railing on 150mm dia Jhau/Eucalyptus or other approved timber 1.4 m above G.L. and 0.60 m below G.L. including tying strongly with coir ropes and boring holes for posts in any soil /black top/concrete surface, packing the sides etc. including cost of carriage of all materials and labour complete and maintaining barricading for a period beyond 5(five) days after the reported & recorded time of completion of the entire work to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, including restoration to the damages of the ground to its original condition as per direction of Engineer-in -Charge after removing the barricade. [Cost of restoration will be paid separately.] 100 mm. dia bamboo railing & 150mm. dia Jhau/Eucalyptus/other approved timber posts @ 1.80m apart. Railing with 3 rows.
