Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 888-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistering the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT & H (5th Revision).[Applying tack coat @ 0.25 kg/Sq.M]

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with lead upto 4000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Borrow pit /pre work post work measurement) With total lead up to 4.0 km.

Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal / Laterite chelly or stone metal / shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal (63 mm to 45 mm) with moorum screening :

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface. Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)

Supplying & fixing of Hazard Markers of size : 30cm X 90 cm as per IRC :79-1981 ( The above is inclusive of vertical post)

Supplying fitting and fixing R.C. guard post 1.37m long with C.C. 1:2:4 with graded stone chips of 13.2mm down casting, curing complete including cost of providing 4nos.of 12mm dia. rod of length 1.54m as main reinforcement and 6 nos. of round shaped 8mm dia rods used as binders; the placing of the first binder should be at 75mm below the top finished surface and the other 5 nos of binders should be placed at 245mm c/c; the guard post is of octagonal section with inscribed circle of dia 24cm at the base tapering to corresponding dimensions of 16cm at the top including two coats of painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and grade to form 6 nos. horizontal alternate bands in white/tannery yellow and black to 90 cm length standing up above ground after mending good damages if any during striking off shuttering, making hole in ground of 47cm depth and 30cm. minimum dia, fixing the guard posts in the same holes and repacking the earth properly so as to keep the guard posts standing properly erect in correct position true to line and length including carriage of R. C. Guard Post with due care to the site including loading into the truck and unloading at site complete in all respect. With Pakur variety stone chips.

Protection of embankment by closely driven 150 mm diameter Eucalyptus Bullah, each of 4500 mm total length, driven 3000 mm length into ground @ 500 mm center to center keeping 1500 mm length above ground, including fittings of three numbers half split 100 mm diameter eucalyptus bullah Runner, along full length of the walling including 100 mm diameter eucalyptus bullah tie of 2150 mm. in length, fitted @ 1500 mm center to center with Tie-post anchoring by driving 100 mm diameter eucalyptus bullah Tie post of 1500 mm. in length, 1350 mm length driven into ground on the road side @ 1500 mm centre to centre, 2 (Two) coat coal tarring on Eucalyptus bullah used complete as per directionincluding the cost of supplying eucalyptus bullah, nails, bolts, wires, etc. andlabour charges for cutting bullah, driving charges for driving ballah into ground, fitting, fixing charges for Runner & Tie, including excavation charges, carriage & labour charges all complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including supplying empty Cement bags in good condition, filling empty cement bags with dry earth obtained from borrowpit (land owned / arranged by the agency) with a lead upto 3050 m, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position @ 501 No of bags / 15m length of walling and all incidental charges complete and including cost of earth and gunny bags. This rate includes the cost of compensation of land, cost of Royalty etc. During initial payment, a sum of Rs 34.30/ m3 of equivalent volume of borrowpit of earth is to be dudcted from the bill as Royalty, which will be paid seperately on production of Royalty clearance cerificate from the competent authority).(Diameter of pile to be measured at a distance of 1.5 m from the thicker end and Payment will be made on finished length of walling complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.)
