Semi-dense Bituminous Concrete Providing & laying Semi-dense Bituminous Concrete (SDBC) as wearing coarse by Hot Mix Plant, using coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler materials and binder of required specification and grading as per approved job mix formula, over thoroughly cleaned surface coated with tack coat, including screening, cleaning of aggregates, mixing the components as per approved Job Mix Formula with hot binder, carrying the mixture by tipper truck or any other approved suitable arrangements, laying the mixture uniformly, maintaining the specified laying temperature, thorough rolling with power roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an uniform surface to achieve the desired density of at least 98% of that of Laboratory Marshall specimen, including the cost and carriage of aggregates, filler and binder, heating the binder, preheating the aggregates, and filler to the specified temperature, including the hire charges of Hot Mix Plant and other machineries, pay of operators, cost of fuel and lubricants and all other incidental charges complete. Including cost of applying tack coat using cationic bitumen emulsion (M.S.Grade packed) @ 0.25Kg./m². 25 mm Compacted Thickness of Grading 2. (10 mm nominal size, 25-30 mm thick.) Using Drum mix Type HMP of minimum capacity 60-90 TPH. Using Bulk bitumen (VG-30) @ 115.00 Kg./m³ & Cationic Emulsion (Packed RS-I) @ 2.50 Kg/10 sqm.

Supplying & providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying & fixing of Raised pavement Markers/Road Studs/Cats eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT& H’s specification for Road & Bridge works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10mm and shall not exceed 20mm, width shall not exceed 130 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degre. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge. The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/ international laboratory conforming the above specifications.
