N.B: i) Rate should be Quoted per Machine per Month. ii) Payment will be made after availability of fund from concern Department. iii) Payment will be made as per P.W.D norms.

SCOPE OF WORKS AC machine installed at Different location of Bolpur Sub- Divisional Court.

TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. This comprehensive contract covers preventive & corrective maintenance of AC machines/spare parts as required so as to keep the AC machines operative/functioning round the clock. 2. This contract covers repair & replacement of any spares & accessories including compressor, blower motor, sheet metal body & repairing/replacement of condenser coil, capacitors, relay, thermostat, air-filters etc. as necessary. 3. The contract covers servicing of machines twice in a month or as required. 4. The contract covers thorough overhauling & painting of RAC/SRC at site once in a year positively. 5. The contract covers charging of refrigerant, as an when required.

6. In case of break-down of RAC machines the restoration will have to be done within 24hrs. from the time of break-down. If the machine is required to be removed/shifted to workshop & retained for more that 24hrs, “Loan machine” have to be provide as replacement. If “Loan machine” is not provided timely by the agency a penalty amount @ Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only per machine per day will be deducted from the contractor’s bill till re-installation of AC machine or as per the discretion of EIC. 7. Service challan certifying satisfactory performance of the machine should be submitted to the concerned JE twice in a month & that has to be countersigned by the AE & to be submitted along with the bill. A log book shall also be maintained by the agency duly signed by the J.E/AE from time to time of servicing. Grill temperature for the AC machines have to be maintained within 70 degree F +- 2 degree F keeping proper entries in the service challan.

8. Working condition of “TIMER SWITCH” in each AC machine should be checked by the agency in everyday & if it is found non-functioning or bypass mode, it should be noticed in writing to the Assistant Engineer(EL)P.W.D immediately & should be recorded in the Log book. 9. The concerned Executive Engineer reserves the right to terminate the contract against one notice for non-satisfactory performance or other administrative reasons. 10. Transportation charges for carrying AC machines/spares from the site to work shop /work shop to site or as required will not be paid extra. 11. The philosophy of “Public Interest” would be the MOTTO of this all inclusive maintenance any deviation may be viewed otherwise.

12. Any inconvenience caused so far as performance of AC machine is concerned due to negligence in the part of the agency, if detected, will be liable to penalty. Quantum of penalty would be decided by EIC depending on the gravity of situation. 13. The agency must be equipped with a cell phone to look after the overall maintenance of the AC machines and interact with the officer, staff of PWD/Authority concerned. 14. Bill should be Bimonthly/Quarterly as per direction of EIC keeping at least one spare log book. 15.No extra charges will be paid except the rate quoted by the agency as per month basis for maintaining the above description terms & conditions. 16.The working personnel (Staff) of the agency maintain " Dress Code(as approve by the EIC) at the time of working/maintenance.
