Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. (a) Depth up to 750 mm.

Supplying, spreading and compacting Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary.

Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) A. Plant Mix Method: Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) Grading – I

Plant Mix Method: Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) Grading – II

Wet Mix Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Prime Coat Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) For WBM / WMM Surface: (with primer @ 0.85 kg/sqm)

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (ii) On Granular surfaces treated with primer (Using Bitumen emulsion at the rate of 0.275 kg per sqm.)

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) On Bituminous Surface (Using Bitumen Emulsion at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm.)

Dense Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with Hot Mix Plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler and bituminous binder as per design Job Mix Formula conforming Marshall Method as per specification, including screening, cleaning of chips and preparing a uniform and quality mix in Hot Mix Plant and ensuring a homogeneous mix, in which all particles of the mineral aggregates are coated uniformly, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling to achieve the desired density of at least 98% of that of Laboratory Marshall specimen, hand packing and pinning to give an even surface including cost and carriage of bitumen, coarse and fine aggregates and filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, fuels and lubricants and wages of operational staff complete as per Clause 505 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). B. For Grading 2 (26.5 mm nominal size, 50-75 mm thick.) (i) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH.

Mechanised Mastic Asphalt: Providing and laying mastic asphalt (25 mm th.) by mecanical means done in a centralised batching plant with appropiat built- in polution control units with specified aggregates and lime stone powder( with Calcium Carbonate content noe less than 80%) and approved gade of industrial garde bitumen as par approved design mix, transport in the hot mastic asphult to the work sid by Thermocontainer with the arrangement of maintaing specified temputure during transport, laying with a paver finisher for spreading and floating plastic mix unformly on the surface to the specified width and thickness at currect grade and camber through its heated, distortion free steel float and turning sword distributors, applying uniform sizwe of bitumen coated stonechips at a specified rate, on the laid surface through a power driven chip spreader as per the procedure laid down in Annexure-II of IRC : 107(2013) all complete as per clause 516 along with IRC: 107 for meterials.

Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub- base Construction of dry lean cement concrete Sub- base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1, cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, laid with a paver with electronic sensor, compacting with 8-10 tonnes vibratory roller, finishing and curing. (As per clause 601 of specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Cement Concrete Pavement (laying manually) Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with cement content as per IRC: 15-2011, coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a batch mix plant / RMC and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design (as per IRC:44 2008), laid in approved fixed side formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing, spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision ofcontraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding strips, primer, polysulphide sealant, dowel bars, near approaches to bridge/ culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days, using curing compound (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501 for Rural Roadsof MORD. (M45) (ii) With RMC

Cast in Situ Cement Concrete M 20 Kerb with Channel Construction of cement concrete kerb with channel with top and bottom width 115 and 165 mm respectively, 250 mm high in M 20 grade PCC on M10 grade foundation 150 mm thick, kerb channel 300 mm wide, 50 mm thick in PCC M20 grade, sloped towards the kerb, kerb stone with channel laid with kerb laying machine, foundation concrete laid manually, all complete as per clause 409 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labour, hire and usage charges of machinery and all incidental charges in this connection.) A) Using Concrete Mixer

Painting on concrete surface Providing and applying 2 coats of cement washing with admixture of pigment if necessary as directed by Engineer-in-charge to unplastered concrete surface after cleaning the surface of dirt, dust, oil, grease, efflorescence and using cement @ 2.50 kg per 10 sqm. of surface.

Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Open foundation with or without reinforcements, in any part of foundation of bridges / culverts with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes, including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, cost of curing with water, including cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of formwork but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Supplying, fitting and placing un-coated HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Foundation including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

(a) supplying & laying 25 mm thick tiles of any shade of approved quality as per reletive IS code, IS 1237-2012 laid pattern as direced for footpath, ramp, staircase of public building over 25 mm thick (Ave) Cement Mortar (1:3) & A Cement slurry @4.4 kg/sqm at back side of Block. Supplying and laying in the specific pattern of inter locking concrete block pavement(ICBP) with concrete blocks ( with concrete grade as specified as per Table 1 of IS 15658:2006) manufactured in steel mould clamped to a vibrating table by hydraulic pressure( as per clause no. 6.30 of IRC: SP:63(2018), fromm BIS licensee manufacturer , with spacer nib ( small protuding profiles on the vertical face of a paver block used as a device for keeping minimum joint gap in between the paving blocks, as per cl. no.3.26 of IS: 15658) and of specified size and shape with aspect ration ( The ratio of length to thickness of a paver block , as per cl. no. 3.3 of IS: 15658) as per Table 2 of IS : 15658 with flexural strength / breaking load as per Annexure- G of IS: 15658, on the prepared base course of specified C.B.R as per Table 1 of IRC SP 63 ( 2018) or else as mentioned in design and drawing with a cushion of compacted bedding sand of 25-35 mm thick ( grading of bedding sand as per clause 6.5.1 of IRC SP -63) and filling up the gaps in between paver blocks with joint filling sand ( the grading of joint filling sand will be as pee clause 6.5.2 of IRC SP 63) and compacting the edges with ent blocks as per Cl.no 8.7 of IRC SP-63(2018) with proper confinement of bedding and filling up of the edge gap. 50 mm thick (ii) Colour decorative

M.S. structural works with hollow sections (square or rectangular shape) confirming to IS:- 806-1968 & 1161-1998) connected to one another bracket, gusset, cleat as per design, drawing and direction of Engineer-in charge complete including cutting to requisite shape and size , febrication including arc welding confirming to is:- 816-1969 and symbol IS:- 9595 using elctrodes of approved make and brand confirming to IS:- 814-2004, houlage, hoisting and erection all complete. the rate includes the cost of all M.S. hollow section, all consumables such as elctrodes, gas and hire charges of all tools and plants and labour required for execution and all incidetal charges( such as electricity, labour insurance) etc. complete. payment to be made on the basisi of calculated weight of structural members of M.S Hollow section as specified in relevent IS code in finished work. Payment for gusset, ( cleat may be made by adding the actual weight of such items with weight of finished structural members the rates are considered for a height of erection 8m/ 2nd floor level from the ground. add 1.5 % extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m beyond the initial 8m or part thereof . ii) for other structural works like galleries etc.

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers / Road Studs / Cats Eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT&H's specification for Road &Bridge Works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm, width shall not exceed 130mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm. on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degree. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge .The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/international laboratory conforming the above specifications.

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
