Compacting original ground supporting embankment Loosening, Leveling and Compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150 mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in Tables 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per Clause 305.3.4 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying, spreading and compacting fine Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary.

Construction of granular sub-base Gr-II by providing graded material (pakur variety), mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Construction of granular sub-base Gr-III by providing graded material (pakur variety), mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone (pakur variety) aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the Material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying and laying in the specified pattern of Interlocking Concrete Block Pavements (ICBP) with concrete blocks (with concrete grade as specified as per Table 1 of IS 15658:2006) manufactured in steel mould clamped to a vibrating table by hydraulic pressure (as per cl. No. 6.30 of IRC : SP : 63 (2018), from BIS licence manufacturer, with spacer nib (Small protruding profiles on the vertical face of a paver block used as a device for keeping minimum joint gap in between the paving blocks, as per Cl. No. 3.26 of IS: 15658) and of specified size and shape with aspect ratio (The ration length of thickness of a paver block, as per CL. No. 3.3 of IS : 15658) as par Table 2 of IS : 15658 with flexural strength/ breaking load as per Annexure G of IS:15658, on the prepared base course of specified CBR as per Table 1 of IRC SP 63 (2018) or else as mentioned in design and drawing with a cushion of compacted bedding sand of 25-35 mm thick (grading of the bedding sand as per clause 6.5.1 of IRC SP-63) and filling up the gaps in between paver blocks with joint filling sand ( the grading of the joint filling sand will be as per clause Cl. No. 8.7 of IRC SP 63) and completing the edges with cut blocks as per Cl. No. 8.7 of IRC SP – 63(2018) with proper confinement of bedding and joint filling sand, compaction, levelling and filling up of the edge gap. 100 mm thick, Grey Colour

Plain Cement Concrete M30 in open foundation using Concrete Minture Machine with coarse aggregates(Pakur Variety) of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures,as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete as per drawing and technical specifications.

(B) Footpath & Drain Works :

Providing and fixing at or near ground level precast cement concrete in kerbs (size: 410 mm x 310 mm x width 150 mm at bottom with circular nosing at top) (Nano kerb) of cement concreat M25 Grade without reinforcement, fixing as per approved pattern and setting in position at site after preparing the bed grade and slopes by laying Cement concrete with jhama khoa (1:4:8) as per specification and direction of engineer-in- Charge including filling of joints with 10 mm thick cement morter (3:1) and back filling the vertical piece properly with earth duly compacted and curing the mortar joints for atleast 3 days including cost and carriage of all materials complete.

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification including setting out, removing, of spoils up to any lead as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge in marshy soil for depths not exceeding 3 m. by manual means: With pumping out water excluding shoring.

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. Single brick flat soling (thickness 75 mm.)

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. (i) Pakur Variety

Brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:6) In Foundation & Pinth

Plaster to wall with cement sand morter (4:1) including rounding off corners. i) With 1:4 cement mortar 15 mm. thick for in side wall

Providing and fixing at or near ground level precast Cement Concrete channel 300 m.m. wide , 100 mm thk & 500 mm individual length as per drawing with mix design of M-25 grade concrete without reinforcement, fixing as per approved pattern and setting in position at site after preparing the bed grade and slopes by laying lime concrete ( 18 :36 :100 ) with jhama khoa and filling the joint with the cement mortar 10 m.m. thick 1:3 having laid in a finished base with 100 m.m. medium sand filling in bottom 100 mm upward from kerb stone bottom all complete in road side medians and footpath side as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Constructing Inspection pit of inside measurement 600mm X 600mm X upto 600mm (depth) with 250 mm thick 1st. class brick work in cement mortar (1:4) on all sides, bottom of the pit consisting of 100 mm thick cement concrete (1:3:6) with stone chips over a layer of jhama brick flat soling, 15 mm thick (1:4) cement plaster to inside walls and out-side walls upto G.L. and 20 mm.thick (1:4) plaster to bottom of the pit, providing necessary invert with cement concrete (1:3:6) with stone chips as per direction, neat cement finishing to entire internal surfaces, top of the pit covered with 100 mm thick R.C.C. slab (1:1.5:3) with stone chips and necessary reinforcements upto 1% and shuttering including 6 mm thick cement plaster (1:4) in all external surfaces of the slab and one 560 mm dia. R.C.C. manhole cover of approved make supplied, fitted and fixed in the slab with necessary fittings, necessary earthwork in excavation in all sorts of soil, filling sides of the pit with earth and removing spoils after work complete in all respect with all costs of labour and materials. i) With Pakur variety. Supplying & laying as per IRC-SP:063-2004 paver unit of any shade of approved quality as per relevant IS code, laid in pattern as directed in pavement, footpath, driveway (paver block only), etc including necessary underlay complete in all respect with all labour and material. [Border concrete if necessary to be paid separately]. Note: Sub-grade CBR should not be less than 5. b) 60 mm thick interlocking designer concrete paver block M- 30 grade for non-traffic zone, buiding premises, garden, parks, domestic drive as per IS: 15658- 2006(over 20-30 mm medium sand bed on 200mm thk bound gnaular /granular base course including cost of sand for sand bed but excluding cost of base course & subgrade preparation.) coloured decorative.

(C) Road Safety & Road Furniture

Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick upported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 Grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). a) 90 c.m equilateral traingle

Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick upported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 Grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). b) 80 c.m. x 60 c.m rectangular

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers / Road Studs / Cats Eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT&H's specification for Road &Bridge Works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm, width shall not exceed 130mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm. on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degree. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge .The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/ international laboratory conforming the above specifications.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).
