Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. Depth upto 600 mm.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits land owned/arranged by the agency at his own cost with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 2000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. Carriage up to total lead of 2.0 km (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works) (Royalty charge on earth @ Rs. 29.00 /m³ and cesses charges @ 5.30 /m³ will be deducted from the bill amount if the contractor not able to produce necessary documents in support of payment made towards the royalties).

Supplying and laying in the specified pattern if interlocking concrete Block pavement (ICBP) with concrete blocks (with concrete grade as specified as per Tablel as IS 15658:2006) manufactured in steel mould clamed to a vibrating table by hydraulic pressure (as per cl. no. 6.30 of IRC:SP:63 (2018), from BIS licensee manufactured, with spacer nib (small protruding profiles on the vertical face of apaver block used as a device for keeping minimum joint gap in between the paving blockes , as per cl. no. 3.26 of IS: 15658) and of specied size and shape with aspect ration(the ratio of length to thickness of a paver block, as per cl. no. 3.3 of IS:15658) as per Table 2 of IS:15658 with flexural strength/breaking load as per Annexure G of IS:15658, on the prepared base course of specified CBR as table 1 of IRC SP 63 (2018) or else as mentioned in design and drawing with a caushin of compacted bedding sand of 25-35 mm thick (grading of the bedding sand as per clause 6.5.1 of IRC SP-63) and filling up the gaps in between paver blocks with joint filling sand (the grading of the edge with cut blocks as per cl. no. 8.7 of IRC SP-63 (2018) with compaction, levelling and filling up of the edge gap. 120mm thick. Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers / Road Studs / Cats Eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT&H's specification for Road &Sridge Works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and shall not exceed 20 mm, width shall not exceed 130mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sq.cm. on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 ± 5 degree. Fixing will be without nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation including site clearance etc. and complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge .The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/international laboratory conforming the above specifications.

Type - A, "W" : Metal Beam Crash Barrier Supplying & providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanized by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 andIS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per Clause 811.3 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

PART-C) PROTECTIVE WORK- Guard Wall:

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge . I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means. a) upto 3 m depth (i) With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Fine Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge. (Compaction factor of dry clean sand is 0.835)

Providing & laying Plain Cement Concrete in Open foundation without reinforcements, in any part of foundation of bridges / culverts with graded stone chips of appropriate nominal sizes, including screening and cleaning of coarse aggregates, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, cost of curing with water, including cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. including cost of formwork but excluding reinforcement complete as per drawing and technical specifications. PCC Grade M20. With Mobile Concrete Batching Plant.

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry / Plain / Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall / return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and Technical specifications.

PART-D) REPAIRING DRAINAGE WORKS (Minor Repairing):

Hire and labour charges for staging with sal-bullah for super structure of bridge (Major and Minor) including stripping off and removing clearing on completion of work as per design and drawing approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning the exposed reinforcement preferably upto full diameter by wire brush, applying two coats of polymer based rust removing compound left for 24 hours, removing the coating and then applying two (2) coats of polymer modified anti corrosive protective coating formulated to inhibit the corrosion of reinforcement as per manufacturer's specification] [Mode of measurement:The affected surface area of reinforcement shall be considered for payment]

Cleaning the exposed corroded Reinforcement as well as worn out concrete by sand blasting with air compressor including all materials, hire charges of machineries and labour etc. all complete as per technical specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing anti-corrosive protective coating to inhibit the corrosion to HYSD reinforcements including two coats of anti-corrosive coatings of consumption as per manufacturer’s specification, cleaning etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge

Guniting concrete surface with cement mortar (25 mm nominal thick) applied with compressor after cleaning surface and spraying with epoxy complete as per Technical specification.

Plain / Reinforced Cement Concrete in Substructure with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality, cement and water reducing admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete as per drawing and technical specifications. RCC Grade M25 I. Using Mobile Concrete Batching Plant a) Height upto 5m

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Tor Steel rods / HYSD bars / TMT (Sail/Tata/ Rinl) (Fe 415 /Fe 500 /Fe 500D, conforms to IS: 1786 latest revision)

Construction of precast RCC railing of M30 Grade, aggregate size not exceeding 12mm, true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500, centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000 mm, leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion, complete as per MoRT&H standard drawing no SD/202 and technical specifications.

Epoxy bonding of new concrete to old concrete

Painting Two Coats the vertical end faces of posts, wheel guards or railing or parapet with alternate bands of different colours as directed by the Engineer-in-charge with approved synthetic enamel paint. Two Coats.

Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain / reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork & reinforcement works. M-15 Grade. Using Mobile concrete Batching Plant.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. Where staging is not required.
