1.The system shall be tested and commissioned by a qualified competent, trained engineer or technician authorized by the manufacturer of the fire alarm equipment to technically supervise and participate during all of the adjustments and tests for the system under active monitoring of OEM. 2. Before energizing the cables and wires, check for correct connections and test for short circuits, ground faults, continuity, and insulation and other tests as per above standards must be done. Before taking up the work necessary building drawing/ floor plan with layout should be prepared and to be approved from the appropriate authority of PWD according to the prevailing fire safety policy. After commissioning, necessary testing to be done in presence of the appropriate authority of PWD.
