Periodical inspection thrice in a month and as & when required by Electrical Supervisor having valid Supervisors' certificate of competency from Directorate of Electricity Licensing Board), Govt. of West Bengal or under any other State Govt. of India along with Pump Technician/Supervisor. Each visit should be recorded in the Log Book (with date and time) to be supplied by the Agency and kept in the Pump House & Sub-station Building. The Supervisor requires to have through/in-depth inspection of all the electrical appliances to ascertain the healthy/ fault free operational condition of each equipment i.e. pumps, Motors,valves with Actuators, flow / level/ pressure instruments, gauges, lightings, waisting arrangements, exhaust fans, HT & LT Panel Boards, Cables, capacitors, Transformer, Battery and Battery charger along with in-house lighting system.

Periodical maintenance by Cleaning of contacts by CRC 226 spray in the existing LT panel board, PDBs, cleaning of all Terminal Sockets, Coils, greasing of pump & motor bearing, filling up lubricating oil, change of gland packing etc at the site once in a month along with minor repairing (if required) of the electro mechanical equipments by supplying necessary sundry materials/electro mechanical accessories as required in presence of Electrical Supervisor/ Electrician and to be recorded in the Log Book with date.

Calibration of all meters viz. Ammeter, Voltmeter, Kilowatt meter etc. and testing of all relays, LT breakers, earthing arrangement system by any agency approved by Directorate of Electricity/ WBSEDCL/ Any Power Generating unit, twice in a year (preferably in the month of December and June) and submission of the test report in duplicate to Department in each case as required and as per direction of EIC.
