Engagement of Mazdoor for Daily/Periodical/Routine maintenance of each Gully Pits, Channels leading to Gully Pits, Water Channels across the median; cleaning and disposal of dust, dirt and earth deposited on kerb channels & channels leading to Gully Pits; removing of blockage of Gully Pits, inlets of box drains/other drains of Major Arterial Road including service lane, median, footpaths round the year; removal of blockage of each Gully Pits of mud, plastics, leaves, broken tree branches and any other articles/objects during every rain fall, storm and cyclone; cleaning and un-blocking of Gully Pits to be done during rain fall, storm, cyclone round the clock so that there will no stagnation of water in front of Gully Pits, channels leading to Gully Pits, road kerb channels. The cleaning shall be done in such a manner and frequency that the entire Gully Pits, kerb channels, water channels, etc. shall remain always clean; there will never be any blockage in Gully Pits, channels leading to Gully Pits. During the entire operation of cleaning and disposal of earth, rubbishes, sludge, etc. the ''work in progress board/danger board" to be displayed at work place and the labour force will have to wear light reflective safety jackets; rain coats during rain fall. The rate is inclusive of wages of Supervisor, Labour Vehicles, all the materials and activities as mentioned above and required tools & plants, rain coats etc. Complete.

Bailing out water by pump including all leads and lifts and including making all arrangements for disposal, where continuous flow or seepage of water is encountered and rating of pumps and hours of operation is specifically ascertained as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Cleaning rubbish, sludge, weeds scum, liquid earth, mud etc. from box drain / covered nikashi etc. by mathor labour after removing Concrete Slab / Manhole Cover etc. without damaging the same and refixing the same properly after cleaning as necessary and removing the sludge etc. by using iron pans, buckets including all labour, tools & plants including expulsion of impure / inflammable / asphyxiating gases from the drains etc. and removing the spoils in dry condition and disposing the same by truck beyond the area of Municipal Corporation / Municipality / Notified Area Authority / Industrial Township Authority etc. for such disposal including the cost of loading , unloading, transuction and making arrangement of nesseary land for disposal, spreding and leveling as necessary etc. and cleaning the road side in all respects, complete as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge. (Land for disposal to be arranged by the contructor). (Payment will be made on the basis of actual stack measurment of spoils in dry condition at road side)
