Derusting, scraping, brushing and cleaning (to the extent of exposing the original surface) the outer surface of manufactured M.S. pipes and specials. applying first coat of etic primer Type-B as per IS : 15337 : 2003 of approved make over it and wrapping the same with coal tar based insulating tape 2 mm thick as per IS : 15337 : 2003 of approved make and applying the second coat of synthetic primer Type - B (as specified above) over the first layer of insulating tape and wrapping the same with second layer of 2 mm thick coal tar based insulating tape (as specified above) instaggered pattern (including overlapping at ends) by torching etc. as per nufacturer's specification and as per direction of ElC. Each layer of protective wrapping shall be tested with Holiday detector at Contractor's cost and the Contractor' shall repair all holidays to the satisfaction of ElC at no extra cost (Payment will be made on finished area of work) (Ref:P-27, It-7.1,Water Supply -2018)

Supplying 12 mm. thick M.S. Pipe by “SAIL MAKE/TATA MAKE” at site and laying the same at site by 1000 mm. internal dia. M.S. pipe conduit as a casing and providing the same underneath of Culvert by Jack Pushing Technique as desire depth as per direction of the Engineer – in- charge and complete in all respect. [Cost to include of all required items to execute the said works as per drawing specification and direction of the Engineer-in Charge including all materials , labours, Fabrication Cost, hire charges for tools and plants all Complete.] (Analysed Rate) 1000 mm dia.

Supplying 10 mm. thick M.S. Pipe by “SAIL MAKE/TATA MAKE” at site and laying the same at site by 600 mm. internal dia. Providing and placing fine sand to outer annular space between 600 mm. dia M.S. pipe and 400mm. dia DI K-9 pipe and Filling of DI K-9 pipe and specials with water by the contractor and testing hydraulically the same under a head of pressure as per specification including supply of water and necessary equipments such as blank flanged, pumps, gauges etc. required for the testing including providing suitable end thrust block and dismantling and removal of the same after completion of the testing, fixing special type of ends caps, blank flanges and removal of the same after completion of welding, jointing gas cutting etc. as necessary including of jointing materials, disposal of water after testing etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge after testing etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Field welding of M.S. plates by means of electric arc welding as per relevant I.S. specification using standard electrodes including edge preparation and charges of deploy-ment of electric generator set with fuel, lubricant and all other tools and plants all complete as per speci-fication and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. i) Throat thickness 10 mm.
