Cleaning and removing conservancy garbage mixed with rubbish & other filthy materials from the road side flank, drain and compound including cutting, loading, unloading to and from truck or cart by Mathor labour & removing the same to any distance.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

Earthwork in excavation or re-excavation of drainage channels / rivers in all kinds of soil including silt, sand, slush etc. mixed with all sorts of Industrial wastes, sewages, municipal garbage, carcasses, tannery effluents, jungles, bushes, semi-solid / solid campact mass, water hyacinth, cowdung deposits, decomposed vegetations, polythenes, brick bats, gravels, stone ballast, crates, remnant of bullah and bamboo pins etc. by means of suitable excavator mounted on pontoon (min. depth of water 0.75 metre) specially made to suit the site condition in tidal or non-tidal channel / river and carrying of the excavated materials to suitable locations of the channel / river bank from the point of excavation by diesel machine operated boats or similar arrangements in a manner suited for the purpose and placing the excavated materials from the boat etc. on the top of the bank in case of disposal at suitable places arranged by the agency at his own cost, on the bank at available locations having distances from the point of re- excavation as shown below, by means of excavators or any other machines or manually as may be required, including all lifts. (a) For distance 0 to 50 metre from the point of re-excavation to the placing point on the bank.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Bamboo pile walling made of 65 mm to 75 mm dia. Bamboo (in single line) driven about half length into the ground at very close spacing side by side including necessary bamboo stays, ties, runners etc and lining the exposed portion with sheets made form cut-drums fitted and fixed complete as per direction. (c) With bamboos of length above 2.40 m. and up to 3.00 m. each

Earth work in filling in compound, tank, low land, ditches etc. with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including breaking clods and consolidating the same by ramming and dressing complete. (Payment will be made on profile measurement before and after the work ((ii) With carried earth arranged by the contractor within a radius exceeding 3 km. but not exceeding 5 km. including the cost of carried earth.

(A) Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand.

(II) Cement concrete with 30 mm down graded shingles excluding shuttering. N.B. Variety In ground floor (a) 1:3:6 proportion

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (f) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation

125 mm. thick brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:4) in ground floor.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor). Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick in wall, dado, window sill, floor etc. NOTE:Cement 0.152 cu.m per100 sq.m.

Pumping out water from ponds or tanks

Planting of trees ( Avenue plants) in 0.60m dia holea, 1m deep dug in the ground, mixing the soil with decayed farm yard/sludge manure. This includes supply of labour, tools & plants including materials but excluding cost of tree.

Supplying and stacking of good earth (adequate for horticulture work) at site including royalty (earth measured in stack will be reduced by 20% for payment)

Supplying and stacking sludge (adequate for Horticulture work) at site in dry cake form from approved disposal work site including royalty, all lead and lift etc. (Sludge measured in stack will be reduced by 8%).

Spreading of sludge, dump manure,/farm yard manure/animel dung manure and good earth in required thickness. This includes supply of labour, tools & plants excluding materials.

Preparation of beds for hedging and shrubbery by excavating 60cm deep and trenching the excavated base to a further depth of 30cm, refilling the excavated earth after breaking clods and mixing with sludge or manure in the ratio of 8:1 ( 8 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20%, one part of stacked volume of sludge or manure after reduction by 8%), flooding with water, filling with earth if necessary watering and finally fine dressing, levelling etc., including stacking and disposal of materials declared unserviceable and surplus earth by spreading and levelling as directed, within a lead of 50m lift upto 1.5m complete. This includes supply of labour, tools & plants including materials. Planting hedge plants in two rows at 30cm apart
