M&L premixed bituminous macadam over primed surface of road using paving bitumen VG-30, laid/rolled by 8 to 12 tonne capacity roller and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), binder contents of premixed macadam shall be 4% by weight of total mix (Design Mix), complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Work shall be executed after approval of design mix of bituminous macadam by GE. (ii) Calibration of Hot Mix Plant shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for approval. (iii) Payment shall be made to Contractor after submission of approved design mix, bitumen extraction report, Road Roller register & calibration report. (iv) Exact qty of binder to be used shall be ascertained by Design Mix. (v) Minimum 4% binder shall be used. However, in case more than 4% of binder content is required as per design mix, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to dept.]

M&L preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dust or dirt etc. & applying evenly a tack coat of Bitumen VG- 10 grade conforming to IS :73 at a rate of application of 0.3 - 0.4 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for Road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying 25mm thick mastic asphalt consisting of an intimate homogeneous mixture of mineral filler, well graded fine and coarse aggregate, industrial grade 85/25 bitumen meeting the requirement given in Table as mentioned in SSR Part-I, grade of bitumen as per IS : 73 of 2006 cooked at 170 degree to 200 degree centigrade laid hot trowelled and floated by means of wooden float laid, bitumen mastic after spreading and while still hot in plastic condition shall spread over with bituminous precoated fine aggregate of size 20mm @ 0.005 Cum per 10 Sqm mixed with 0.17 Kg per 10 Sqm of bitumen grade 85/25 Industrial grade bitumen meeting the requirement of IS for anti skidding including all material, labour, tools and plants and including over tack coat of VG-10 grade bitumen conforming to IS : 73 @ 0.3 - 0.4 Kg/Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH Specification for Road & Bridge Works 2013 using mechanical sprayer over prepared base, as per Design mix IRC 107-2013, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Work shall be executed after approval of design mix of mastic asphalt by GE. (ii) Calibration of Hot Mix Plant shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for approval. (iii) Payment shall be made to Contractor after submission of approved design mix, bitumen extraction report & calibration report.]

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder with paving bitumen (VG-30), filler cement as per recommendation of design by weight of total mix from hot mix plant, rolled by with 8 to 12 tonne vibrating (tandom) road roller to confirm uniform surface and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with mechanical paver, complete all as specified and directed. [Note : (i) Work shall be executed after approval of design mix of semi dense asphalt concrete by GE. (ii) Calibration of Hot Mix Plant shall be submitted to Engr-in-Charge for approval. (iii) Payment shall be made to Contractor after submission of approved design mix, bitumen extraction report & calibration report. (iv) Exact qty of binder to be used shall be ascertained by Design Mix. (v) Minimum 4% binder shall be used. However, in case more than 4% of binder content is required as per design mix, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to dept.]

S&F in repairs for cat eye pavement marker two way reflective of minimum size 100mm x 100mm x 20 mm with metal body with micro prismatic lens type technology with reflective lens to be fixed epoxy resin adhesive after cleaning the surface and reflective panels Amber/Red/White the help adhesive and screws, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs road safety convex mirror 80 cm dia with stand of stainless steel of dia 50mm, grade 304 and with all fixtures greater mirror thickness, reflectivity, viewing angle, all round view fixing on ground surfaces using type C-2 (1:3:6), size (300x300x400 ) as in mass cement concrete for foundation filling, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs for Delineators ABS body fitted with 02 Nos 100 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on MS Pipe of 50 mm dia 16 gauge, 900 mm long duly powder coated with anti rust & anti theft steel net in red/white or yellow/white colour combination fixed in position, complete in PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in foudation concrete including earth work in excavation in soft/loose soil as in post holes, removal of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road by cleaning and preparing the road surface and making good the road marking location and marking / applying 2.5mm thick white or golden yellow reflective hot thermoplastic road marking paint (Hot application) for centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine through modern propelled road marking machine in a layer all as per manufacturers instruction and use of all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, interfiller thermoplastic required for glass beads per sqm by incorporating the white beads for reflectivity in 100 mm width, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n exc. spread thickness 75 mm thick, spreading with sensor paver and rolling including watering with vibratory roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed.
