Repairing of joint plates of Bascule Bridge with necessary equipment / machineries labour all complete but excluding the cost of M.S. plates, bolts and other necessary fittings and fixture will be paid separately.

Providing and casting of footpath slabs of Bascule Bridge of dimension 2.10mx0.30mx0.10m with side groove at bottom @ 1.60mx0.20mx0.05m with reinforcing steel (SAIL/TATA/RINL) 4 nos 12 mm dia @ 1.80 meter, 2 nos 10 mm dia @ 1.80 m & 11 nos 8mm stirrups of 0.680 m all cutting length ) with cement concrete (1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20mm normal size) at site adjoining to the Bascule Bridge including steel shuttering & centering, placing of concrete and curing etc.

Carriage and fixing of pre-cast RCC slab to the site by manual means/ hand cart/ wheel barrow and placing them at the locations with 4 nos 12mm dia 110 mm bolts and filling the joints with sand bitumen filler with jute packing including dismantling /removal of the damaged slabs all complete.

Dismantling all types of masonry excepting cement concrete plain or reinforced, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. In ground floor including roof.Upto 150 mm. thick.

Dismantling R.C. floor, roof, beams etc. including cutting rods and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. including stacking of steel bars .(a) In ground floor including roof.

Stripping off worn out plaster and raking out joints of walls, ceilings, etc. up to any height and in any floor including removing rubbish within a lead of 75m as directed.

Removing corrosion of steel reinforcement by mechanical means like wire brushing, chipping to remove loose rust and then application of Rust Converter: Providing & applying Alkaline Rust converting primer Feovert in two coats conforming to ASTM-B-117 & ASTM-G- 60-86 to exposed existing rebars after removing & cleaning loose rust by wire brush and leave it for 6-8 hours. The rust converter shall have a minimum pH of 7.5 and shall be able to convert both hematite and magnetite forms of rust shall pass 400 alternate immersion cycles in 3.5 % NaCl. (Material : Krishna Conchem/ Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent)

Anti Corrosive coating to exposed rein - forcement: Providing and applying anti-corrosive coating IPNet-RB (CSIR /CBRI know how) in 2 coats with time interval of minimum 6 hours. The coating shall have ECorr value of -45 mV against SCE in 3.5 NaCL for 100 hours and electrochemical evaluation of max 0.5 mA /cm2. This coating shall be applied over Feovert coated rebars. (Material : Krishna Conchem/ Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent)

Bond Coat: Providing & applying a coat of structural grade epoxy bond coat EPIBOND 21-LP having excellent water and alkali resistance and has long tack free time of more than 120 minutes by brush conforming to ASTM-C- 882-87 to the prepared concrete surface to be repaired / strengthened. This is applied prior to the application of polymer repair mortar / epoxy mortar / Micro concrete to have monolithic action between old concrete surface and new concrete surface. (Material : Krishna Conchem/ Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent)

Extra rate for using water proofing and lasticising admixture @ 0.2% by weight of ement (or at manufacturer's specified rate) for concrete of various grades.

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. - Pakur variety.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. (i) Pakur Variety.

Repair with Polymer Modified Mortar (PMM): Providing and Repairing the damaged concrete portion / Surface preparation with single component ready to use, corrosion inhibiting fiber reinforced repair mortar MOLITHPMMFCI capable of applying 20 mm avg. thick in single layer initially by hand and finishing with trowel, carefully compacting the same around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface.The polymer modified mortar is applied when the epoxy bonding coat is still tacky.(Material : Krishna Conchem/ Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent)

Providing Ready mix Micro Concrete jacketing to RCC Elements of thickness upto 40 mm: Providing and laying Free flow, shrinkage compensated, high strength corrosion inhibiting micro concrete Molith TTCI wherever required over bonding coat having for confining the concrete elements. The dry product is to be mixed with water by weight and poured into rigid form work moulds& tamped properly, & cured for 3 days. [Payment is to be made by weight premixed of micro concrete product consumed as per site register records. Any reinforcement for jacketting& shuttering shall be paid seperately] (Material : Krishna Conchem/ Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (When the height of a particular floor is more than 4 m the equivalent floor height shall be taken as 4 m and extra for works beyond the initial 4 m ht. shall be allowed under 12 (e) for every 4 m or part thereof) (c) Steel shuttering or 9 to 12 mm thick approved quality ply board shuttering in any concrete work

(b) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation.

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders, etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction. For works in foundation, basement and upto roof of ground floor/ upto 4 m. Tor steel/Mild steel SAIL /TATA /RINL

Brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar(1:6) (a)  In foundation & plinth.

(b) In Superstructure, ground floor.

125 mm thick brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:4) in ground floor.

M.S structural works in columns, beams, etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS:226, IS:808 & SP (6)-1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer in Chargefabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816-1956 &IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814-1957, complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hires charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental charges such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be made by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5Kg./m or 15% of weight for finished structural members weighing less than 22.5 Kg./m may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no separate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer in Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m/2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m beyond initial 8m or part thereof.For structural works in Roof Trusses, etc. using joists, channels and angles of specified section weighing less than 22.5 Kg/m

Welding in M.S. structural work gas or electric: (a) Tack weld.

(b)Continuous weld.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling, etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor). [Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface]. (b) With 1:6 cement mortar – 15 mm thick plaster.

Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC.In Ground Floor:(a) One Coat

Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. In Ground floor (Two Coat). (a) Premium 100% Acrylic Emulsion

Providing and applying first single coat of yellow primer and two coats of synthetic enamel paint/flat oil paint in approved colour shade as per manufacturers specifications to surfaces specifird below, at all height and locations as directed Including removing old paint, Grinding the surface, removing corrosion scales,cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying yellow Zinc. Chromate primer one coats in steel work after cleaning, wire brushing the surface on all level of superstructure & under structure ofOF bridge Structure. (Each coat of 35 micron, D.F.T. totalling 70 micron)

Painting with superior quality aluminium paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. on steel surface (a)Two coat.

Cleaning & removing accumulated,lifting muck/rubbish/other meatrials from under ground chembers /Gully pits /Manholes /other areas of BASCULE BRIDGE including transprotation & dumping the meatrials at the nearest bin/vat of S.M.P.K . The rate is inclusive of required tools, tackles & consumables.

Supplying, fitting, fixing bolts with nuts, washer: (i) 10 to 16 mm dia:(a) Length up to 75 mm.
