Dismantling all types of plain cement concrete works, stacking serviceable materials at site and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75m. In ground floor including roof.Upto 150 mm. thick.

Dismantling R.C. floor, roof, beams etc. including cutting rods and removing rubbish as directed within a lead of 75 m. including stacking of steel bars .(a) In ground floor including roof.

Shear key connector: Drilling straight or inclined holes upto 100 mm deep and upto 20 mm dia on concrete using electrically operated drilling machine including fixing shear key connectors 8 mm dia fixed in concrete using epoxy putty, etc complete. Scaffolding paid under seperate head.

Bond Coat: Providing & applying a coat of structural grade epoxy bond coat of approved brand & specification having excellent water and alkali resistance and has long tack free time of more than 120 minutes by brush conforming to ASTM-C- 882-87 to the prepared concrete surface to be repaired / strengthened. This is applied prior to the application of polymer repair mortar / epoxy mortar / Micro concrete to have monolithic action between old concrete surface and new concrete surface. (Material : Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent)

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders, etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction. For works in foundation, basement and upto roof of ground floor/upto 4 m. Tor steel/Mild steel I). SAIL/ TATA/RINL .

Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-40 conforming to IS 456-2000 at all locations, floors and levels, all shapes, any slopes using graded stone aggregate of 20mm. and down c graded including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete all as per drawing and specifications, but excluding the cost of form work and steel reinforcement (which shall be paid under relevant item).

Construction of cement concrete kerb with channel with top and bottom width 115 and 165 mm respectively, 250 mm high in M 20 grade PCC on M10 grade foundation 150 mm thick, kerb channel 300 mm wide, 50 mm thick in PCC M20 grade, sloped towards the kerb, kerb stone with channel laid with kerb laying machine, foundation concrete laid manually, all complete as per clause 409 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (The rate is inclusive of cost of all materials, labour, hire and usage charges of machinery and all incidental charges in this connection. (a) Using Concrete Mixer

Removing corrosion of steel reinforcement by mechanical means like wire brushing, chipping to remove loose rust and then application of Rust Converter: Providing & applying Alkaline Rust converting primer of approved brand & specification in two coats conforming to ASTM-B-117 & ASTM-G-60-86 to exposed existing rebars after removing & cleaning loose rust by wire brush and leave it for 6-8 hours. The rust converter shall have a minimum pH of 7.5 and shall be able to convert both hematite and magnetite forms of rust shall pass 400 alternate immersion cycles in 3.5 % NaCl (Material : Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent)

Anti Corrosive coating to exposed reinforcement: Providing and applying anti-corrosive coatingof approved brand & specification in 2 coats. The coating shall have ECorr value of -45 mV against SCE in 3.5 NaCL for 100 hours and electrochemical evaluation of max 0.5 mA /cm2. This coating shall be applied over Feovert coated rebars.(Material : Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent).

Tefflon Nozzles for Grouting : Drilling and fixing Teflon nozzles in RCC members,Drilling 12 mm dia.& 50 to 75 mm deep holes in structural members at the intervals of 450 mm in staggered manner or as directed by the engineer. ( Approx 3 nos / Sqmt).Cleaning of holes: Clean the holes by air blower prior to fixing nozzles.Fixing of Nozzles: Insert 12 mm dia. Teflon nozzles in cleaned holes. External end of nozzles to be machine to receive outlet of grouting gun. Fix it inside the holes by applying thixotropic epoxy putty to ensure complete sealing. Wait till the puuty gets set. After completion of grouting remove access nozzle part without damaging structural elements

Providing & injecting high performance non shrink, Anti- washout Polymer Cement Grout of approved brand & specification @ 225gm per 50kg bag of cement as per manufacturer’s specifications into honeycombing area / porous concrete with suitable pump at pressure of 2.0 Kg/Cm2 and subsequently cutting / removal of nozzles and sealing of holes. Payment would be made per Kg of cement.

Injection Grouting / Flooding: Providing and injecting low viscosity epoxy grout EPCO KP/HP 250 SSLV having viscosity less than 200 cps into concrete at 150mm to 300 mm centre to centre through Rohibb Injector & nylon nipples of 12 mm dia fixed into 14 mm dia drilled holes at 4-7 kg /cm2 pressure and heavy flexural strength of 110-130 kg / cm2 & bond strength of 80-100 kg / cm2. Grouting to be done in cracks till the nozzle refuses to accept the grout or it flows from the adjacent nozzle and removing the nipples & sealing it with non-shrink epoxy putty EPCO 1010.(Material : Krishna Conchem/ Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent).

Repair with Epoxy or Polymer Modified Mortar (PMM): Providing and Repairing the damaged concrete portion / Surface preparation with single component ready to use, corrosion inhibiting fiber reinforced repair mortar MOLITH-PMMFCI capable of applying 20 mm avg. thick in single layer initially by hand and finishing with trowel, carefully compacting the same around the rebars and finishing to bring it in line with existing concrete surface.The polymer modified mortar is applied when the epoxy bonding coat is still tacky.(Material : Krishna Conchem/ Fosroc/ Sika Or equivalent).

Providing ready mix micro concrete of Sika/ Fosroc of equivalent brand (to be approved by the engineer) into any hole formed in the concrete wearing course/ RCC base course of the deck surface of Rabindra Setu as per manufacture's specification inclusive of all cost. Payment would be made on the basis of weight of microconcrete used in Kg.

Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). On granular surface/ Cement concrete pavement (Using Bitumen emulsion at the rate of 0.20 to 0.30 kg per sqm.)

Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with Hot Mix Plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler and bituminous binder as per design Job Mix Formula conforming Marshall Method as per specification, including screening, cleaning of chips and preparing a uniform and quality mix in Hot Mix Plant and ensuring a homogeneous mix, in which all particles of the mineral aggregates are coated uniformly, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling to achieve the desired density of at least 98% of that of Laboratory Marshall specimen, hand packing and pinning to give an even surface including cost and carriage of bitumen, coarse and fine aggregates and filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control,fuels and lubricants and wages of operational staff complete as per Clause 505 of Specifications forRoad & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For Grading -1 (37.5 mm nominal size, 75- 100 mm thick) Using Drum mix Type HMP of minimum capacity 60-90 TPH.

Providing and laying mastic asphalt produced in a centralized batching plant with appropriate built- in pollution units with specified aggregates and lime stone powder (with Calcium Carbonate content not less than 80%) and approved grade of industrial grade bitumen as per approved design mix, transporting the hot mastic asphalt to the worksite by thermo container with the arrangement of maintaining specified temperature during transport, laying the same manually in plastic condition uniformly on the deck surface of the bridge, to the specified width and thickness at correct grade and camber through its heated, distortion free steel float and turning sword distributors, applying uniform size of bitumen coated stone chips at a specified rate, on the laid surface as per the procedure laid down in IRC: 107 (2013) all complete as per clause 516 along with IRC : 107 for materials and design mix etc. (I) By Manual Means (a) for depth of 15 mm-50 mm

Mechanized Mastic Asphalt: Providing and laying mastic asphalt by mechanical means done in a centralized batching plant with appropriate built- in pollution control units with specified aggregates and lime stone powder (with Calcium Carbonate content not less than 80%) and approved grade of industrial grade bitumen as per approved design mix, transporting the hot mastic asphalt to the worksite by thermo container with the arrangement of maintaining specified temperature during transport, laying with a paver finisher for spreading and floating the plastic mix uniformly on the surface to the specified width and thickness at correct grade and camber through its heated, distortion free steel float and turning sword distributors, applying uniform size of bitumen coated stone chips at a specified rate, on the laid surface through a power driven chip spreader as per the procedure laid down in Annexure - II of IRC : 107 (2013) all complete as per clause 516 along with IRC : 107 for materials and design mix etc. (a) 25 mm

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes complete as per Clause 803 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers / Road Studs / Cats Eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to clause no 804 of MoRT&H's specification for Road & Bridge Works (Fifth Rev.). Marker height shall not be less than 10 mm and .The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/ international laboratory conforming the above specifications.
