Galvanised wire mesh: Supplying and Fixing Galvanised wire mesh of average width of aperture 1.4 mm and nominal dia of wire 0.63 mm

Nipples/Nozzles for Grouting: Providing and fixing/inserting 12 mm. Polytetrafluoroethylene - (Teflon) nozzles of 150mm. length with epoxy resin based putty/mortar (STP/BASF/SIKA/Fosroc/Krishna Conchem/Pidilite/CICO as per Specifications) as per approved FQP and technical specifications after drilling holes of 14 mm. dia. in to concrete up to 40mm. to 80 mm. depth or half the thickness of member (whichever is less), at required spacing but not exceeding the thickness of member or 300 mm for grouting and subsequent cutting and removal of the same after grouting is completed.

Grouting: Sealing of cracks/porous concrete by injection process through Teflon nipples/grouting complete as per technical specifications using brand of two component low viscosity (350 centipoise (cps)) epoxy resin (STP/BASF/SIKA/Fosroc/Krishna Conchem/Pidilite/CICO as per Specifications) as per approved FQP.

Chipping/ Removing (RCC): Removing/chipping upto 25 mm average depth and cleaning of existing loose concrete carefully by manual or low impact frequency hammer without damaging the existing concrete including cleaning the surfaces by compressed air jet complete including removing loose concrete around the reinforcement. The debris will be disposed in the place demarked by Engineer in Charge within the Plant Campus. The entire surface will be checked by light hammering (using 1 Kg hammer) for detection of loose concrete. Edges of chipped patch will bear vertical/reverse cut with minimum depth at edges as 10 mm. (Prepared patches to be got checked before applying bond coat). All loose/sound concrete around corroded bars has to be removed to prepare well defined patch.

Demolishing RCC chajja manually/by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in – charge

Derusting/Cleaning of Reinforcement (RCC) : Cleaning of reinforcement of total rust including from behind the reinforcing bars to give it totally rust free finished steel surface, by manual methods and using approved alkaline chemical rust remover (STP/BASF/SIKA/Fosroc/Krishna Conchem/Pidilite/CICO as per Specifications) as per approved FQP with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry. (cost of rust remover included in the rate).

Anti corrosion (RCC) : Providing and applying 2 coats of anticorrosive Zn rich epoxy phenolic rebar protection system of approved brand on the exposed old reinforcement by brush as per detailed specification with interval of 24 hrs between coats.

Corrosoin Inhibitor (RCC) : Protection of exposed / unexposed old reinforcement - Providing and applying Concrete penetrating corrosion Inhibitor “CPCI” over the entire surface in 2 coats @ of 4m2/ltr/coat. For measurement, patch area of repair work will be taken.

Bond Coat (RCC) : Providing and applying structural grade two component epoxy bond coat prior to application of any type of mortar conforming to ASTM C - 881 -13 Type - II tested as per ASTM C - 881-13 to ensure bond between old and new concrete by brush application complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-In-Charge. (For measurement, patch area of repair work will be taken.) (Material manufacture either from M/s STP, M/s BASF, M/s SIKA, M/s FOSROC, M/s Krishna conchem, M/s Pidilite Industries or Equivalent).

Polymer Modified Mortar (RCC) :Polymer Modified Mortar for Cracked & Spalled Portions: Supplying & applying the PMM to build the profile of structural members upto 25 mm average depth by using emulsified SBR latex (STP/BASF/SIKA/Fosroc or Equivalent) conforming to ASTM C-1059-13 Type-II in damaged areas (1 Cement-3 part coarse graded sand + 20 % latex by weight of cement) with 0.35 w/c ratio, in 15-20 mm thick layers by applying bond coat between successive/each layers including levelling & profiling complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-In-Charge. Proper curing to be done for the repair work. Gunny bags may be used for effective curing. Polypropylene fibres ( Recron/Propex or Equivalent) to be added to reduce shrinkage. For measurement, patch area of repair work will be taken. This item includes the cost of bonding agent to be applied in between the layers of repair mortar. Cement used shall satisfy requirements of approved brand and grade by EIC.

Preparation of surface for plastering (Vaulted roof): Raking out joints in lime or cement mortar and preparing the surface for repointing or replastering, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Providing and fixing Galvanised Steel angle hanger: Providing and fixing Galvanised Steel angle hanger (Celling angle) (Size 25x10x0.50 mm) at 1.0 m intervals at the cornor vaulted slabs near eastern and western peripheral walls

Protective Coating: Supplying & applying min. 2 coats of two part high performance moisture compatible corrosion resistant coating material (base and curing agent) of of approved manufacturer (Karaikote-6545 of M/s Krishna Conchem Products Pvt. Ltd Or STP/BASF/SIKA/Fosroc/Pidilite/CICO) with broad brush or roller over prepared surface, using not less than theoritical consumption as per the manufacturer's specification and direction of Engineer - In - Charge . Total dry film thickness (DFT) will be 300-400 microns.
