BUILDING WORKS (F) STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS, GRILLS, GATES ETC. A. ORIGINAL WORKS 20. Supplying, fitting and fixing windows and ventilators with or without integrated grills conforming to IS 1038-1975 and manufactured from rolled steel sections conforming to IS 7452-1974 with non-friction projecting type, box type hinges, glazing clips, lugs locking bracket, handle plate etc, including hoisting in position, straightening if required, fixing lugs in cement concrete ( 1:2:4) with stone chips 20 mm down cutting holes and mending good damages to match with existing surface complete in all respect excluding glazing. (Add extra @ 1.2 % for each additional floors upto 4th floor and @1.5% for each addl. Floor above 4th floor.) In Ground floorFlash butt welded windows and ventilators (No shop priming will be allowed to facilitate inspection of workmanship)Without integrated grills. (c ) Extra over item no. 33 (a) and (b) for, (iii) Centre hung ventilators as per I.S. sizes 580 mm. Note:- For windows and ventilators joints welded by arc welding, the above rates at (a) and (b) shall be reduced by 10%. Mode of measurement. (The weight of grill will be determined (theoritically) from section of the grills actually used excluding the rolled steel section of the window / vent. The weight of the grill should be calculated at 7.85gm./ cu.cm.)

Cement concrete with graded jhama khoa (30 mm size) excluding shuttering In ground floor and foundation. (b) 1:4:8 proportion ( Ref :PWD (Bldg.)-2017, It. No. 1, Page No.23 & 3rd Corrigenda Addenda dtd-04.06.18, P-9 & 10)

Construction of special inspection chamber pit of size 900mm. X 600mm. (inside measurement) without shaft with 250mm. thick cement brick work (1:4) over150mm. thick jhama cement conc. (1:4:8) bed over a layer of brick flat soling including providing 150mm. thick R.C.C. slab with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with reinforcement as per standard drawing over the chamber, brick on edge flooring with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) in the invert with 20mm. thick cement plaster (1:4) finished fine with 1.5 mm. thick neat cement in the inside walls and invert including supplying, fitting and fixing 450mm. dia. (15 M.T.) heavy duty R.C.P.C. cover and frame (15 M.T. load-bearing capacity) with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) and C.I. steps (4 kg. each) including cutting hard crust, excavation, dewatering, back filling and removal of spoils but excluding shoring as per standard drawing .(depth of invert between 1.15m. to 1.80m. below G.L.) i) Average depth of invert 1.15 m. below G.L.

23.Construction of Catch pit 600mmX525mm. (inside measurement) and depth of invert 1000mm. below G.L. with 250mm. thick cement brick work (1:4) over 100mm. thick jhama cement concrete (1:4:8) bed over a layer of brick flat soling including providing 100mm. thick R.C.C. slab with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with reinforcement as per standard drawing, brickon- edge flooring with 20 mm. thick cement plaster (1:4) finished fine with 1.5 mm. thick neat cement in the inside walls and invert including supplying and fixing R.C.P.C. gully grid (5 M.T.load bearing capacity) and 150 mm. dia. C.I. Syphone including cutting hard crust, excavation, dewatering, back filling and removal of spoils as per standard drawing

SUPPLYING INSTALLING OPERATING 3" DIA PORTABLE PUMP.................................COMPLETE.

Manhole connection (upto 450 mm. dia.) including mending good all complete with (1:2:4) cement concrete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge..
