CHAPTER - I [ SUPPLEMENTARY ] EXCAVATION, SHORING, BAMBOO PILING, FENCING & SIGN BOARD, LIGHTING & SIGNALING AND SITE CLEANING ETC. 1.12 Supplying sign-board made of 25 mm thick sal plank with frame on all side of sal batten 50 mm x 32 mm with nailed on post 3.15m x 100mm x100mm and fitting fixing such with digging holes of dia 300 mm and depth 750 mm in all sorts of soil and repacking and consolidating the gap aroundthe post with cement concrete (1 : 3 : 6) painting 2 coats including cost of nails, bolts and nuts etc. complete in all respect as per direction of theEngineer-in-charge. CHAPTER - I [ SUPPLEMENTARY ] EXCAVATION, SHORING, BAMBOO PILING, FENCING & SIGN BOARD, LIGHTING & SIGNALING AND SITE CLEANING ETC. 1.14 Signalling arrangement at both sides of site to avoid any accident during working period 4 nos. red flags during sunlight at 4 corners and 2 nos light (lamp) in other than sunlight.

SECTION(A) PLUMBING WORKS (A)-(VI) TUBE WELL (a) Original Works 21 Surging of existing tube well with chemical treatment and bucket wash (prior to use of compressor machine) and developing the tube well with compressor machine at least 3 (three) days at 8 (eight) hours per day till the yield is obtained at least by 75% of the total specified yield of the tube well (measured by 'V' notch tank) and draw down is within the permissible limit of 10% variation and water so obtained after such washing and developing will be free from sand and bacteria for which test report from the Public Analyst is to be obtained. (The rate is inclusive of all labour and materials including hire charges of tools and plants and cost of materials.) (b) For tube well of size bigger than 100mm dia. with top enlargement to have yield of 6000 gallons per hour. N.B. This item is to be executed with the special approval of the Engineerin- charge.

Supplying & Erection of big size feeder pillar box of Size (1372 x 914 x 607 mm) made up of 3.15 mm thick MS Plate along with suitable M.S. Angle. The P.B. have double hinge door at the front & back with suitable locking arrangement. The box will be painted by 2 cores of aluminiam paint over 1 coat of red oxide paint. Suitable arrangement should be provided for fixing of Timer unit, fuse unit & other accessories. Leg of the pillar box will be 900 mm in length by made up of (35x35x3 mm MS Angle with suitable base Plate. Legs of the Pillar box will be erected at 300 mm below the ground level with cement concrete (6:3:1). Rest portion coverd by 5" Brick Wall with plastering & net cement & bottom portion filled with silver sand as drawing & direction of E.I.C.

Installation the feeder pillar box only on cement brick foundation including plastering and neat cementing as per specification and direction of E.I.C. c) For large size feeder pillar box.
