23.Construction of Catch pit 600mmX525mm. (inside measurement) and depth of invert 1000mm. below G.L. with 250mm. thick cement brick work (1:4) over 100mm. thick jhama cement concrete (1:4:8) bed over a layer of brick flat soling including providing 100mm. thick R.C.C. slab with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with reinforcement as per standard drawing, brickon- edge flooring with 20 mm. thick cement plaster (1:4) finished fine with 1.5 mm. thick neat cement in the inside walls and invert including supplying and fixing R.C.P.C. gully grid (5 M.T.load bearing capacity) and 150 mm. dia. C.I. Syphone including cutting hard crust, excavation, dewatering, back filling and removal of spoils as per standard drawing

Construction of special inspection chamber pit of size 900mm. X 600mm. (inside measurement) without shaft with 250mm. thick cement brick work (1:4) over150mm. thick jhama cement conc. (1:4:8) bed over a layer of brick flat soling including providing 150mm. thick R.C.C. slab with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with reinforcement as per standard drawing over the chamber, brick on edge flooring with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) in the invert with 20mm. thick cement plaster (1:4) finished fine with 1.5 mm. thick neat cement in the inside walls and invert including supplying, fitting and fixing 450mm. dia. (15 M.T.) heavy duty R.C.P.C. cover and frame (15 M.T. load-bearing capacity) with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) and C.I. steps (4 kg. each) including cutting hard crust, excavation, dewatering, back filling and removal of spoils but excluding shoring as per standard drawing .(depth of invert between 1.15m. to 1.80m. below G.L.) i) Average depth of invert 1.15 m. below G.L.

(1:4:8) bed over a layer of brick flat soling including providing 150mm. thick R.C.C. slab with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with reinforcement as per standard drawing over the chamber, brick on edge flooring with ordinary cement concrete(mix 1:2:4) in the invert with 20mm. thick cement plaster (1:4) finished fine with 1.5 mm. thick neat cement in the inside walls and invert including supplying, fitting and fixing R.C.P.C. cover and frame (15 M.T. load bearing capacity) with ordinary cement concrete (mix :1:2:4) and C.I. steps( 4 Kg. each) including cutting hard crust, excavation, dewatering, backfilling and removal of spoils but excluding shoring as per standard drawing .(depth of invert should not be less than 1.80m below G.L.) i) Average depth of invert 2.00 m. below G.L.

Constructing Special Inspection chamber pit (size 900 mmX600 mm) to a depth of 2.0 metre (insid(e) and 450 mmX 450 mm square shaft (inside measurement) with 250 mm thick 1st class brick work (1:4) in all sides over a layer of jhama brick soling and 150 mm thick Jhama cement concrete  (1:4:8) including necessary earth work, invert with ordinary cement concrete (1:2:4) with stone chips over brick-on-edge flooring, plastering inside  with 20 mm thick cement plastering (1:4) and neat cement punning, including supplying,fitting and fixing one 450 mm. dia (15 MT) heavy duty RCPC manhole cover of approved make with R.C.C. slab of 100 mm thick with cement concrete (1:1.5:3) with stone chips including necessary reinforcement, shuttering and CI foot steps (4 kg each) (Depth of invert should not less than 1.80 m below G.L.) ii) Addition and deduction of rate of special inspection chamber pit as per above item  for each addition or reduction in depth of 150 mm. or part thereof.

CHAPTER - VIII SUPPLYING OF MATERIALS HIRE CHARGES OF MACHINERIES 8.29Hire charges for engaging Air Compressor machine with minimum pressure capacity of 5.0 Kg/sq.cm arrangement including all necessary equipments and operating staff, carriage, fuel, Tools and plants all complete for cutting Road / hard crust cutting with pneumatic hammer at desired point in water supply works as per direction of EIC . a) With Pneumatic hammers For minimum engagement of 8 hrs. Hire and labour charges for 3.75cm. thick close timbering with planks, battens,runners,struts etc. complete removing them incl. penetration of shoring as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge upto 1 M. trench width. (Vertical surface of contact area with supporting earth to be measured, payment for penetration will not be allowed) a)  Depth upto 3.00 M below G.L.

Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal / Laterite chelly or stone metal / shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (i) For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal  / Laterite (63 mm to 45 mm) (Moorum replaced with course sand)  (For compacted thickness 75mm)

BUILDING WORKS (A) EARTH WORK,ANTITERMITE TREATMENT 4. (A) Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity)

Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). (ii) On Granular surfaces treated with primer. (Using Bitumen emulsion at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm.)

Transportation and laying 40 mm thick hot asphaltum mixture from kmc plant to the work site including rolling but excluding the cost of tack coat (covered area- 1250 square meter per 100 mt hot-mixture) a) without paver finisher i) Day Time
