PROTECTIVE AND LINING WORKS IN CANALS & CHANNELS AND OTHER FLOOD PROTECTIVE MEASURES 2.02 Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles.(iii) 15 cm av. diameter

Labour for fitting and fixing 10cm. to 13cm. Diameter sal-bullah as ties and runners including necessary nails, bolts and nuts.

PROTECTIVE AND LINING WORKS IN CANALS & CHANNELS AND OTHER FLOOD PROTECTIVE MEASURES 2.27.Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,( tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/bag

Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. (a) Depth up to 150 mm.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

BUILDING WORKS ( C ) Brickworks,Concrete Works etc?36...Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor).(When the height of a particular floor is more than 4 m the equivalent floor height shall be taken as 4 m and extra for works beyond the initial 4 m ht. shall be allowed under 12 (e) for every 4 m or part thereof).(a) 25 mm to 30 mm thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge.Notes:- For shuttering in shell roof, grid roof with vertical faces folded plate, arched roof the rate in 36 (a), 36 (b) & 37 (c ) of subhead B above to be increased by 100 % . For grid roof with splayed faces, rate is to be increased by 150%.

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction. BUILDING WORKS(D) Flooring..A. ORIGINAL WORKS?(20)Supplying, fitting and fixing 18 mm. to 22 mm. thick kota stone slab in wall, dado in 15 mm thick [avg] cement mortar (1:3) including making suitable arrangement to hold the stone properly by brass / copper hooks including pointing in cement mortar (1:2) (1 cement : 2 marble dust) with admixture of pigments matching the stone shade, including grinding and polishing all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including cost of materials, labour, scaffolding, staging, curing complete. [Using cement slurry for bedding @4.4 kg/Sq.m and for jointing @1.8 kg/Sq.m] (3rd Corrigenda & addenda dated 04.06.2018)

Supplying & laying 25 mm thick Tiles of any shade of approved quality as per relevant IS code, IS: 1237-2012 laid in pattern as directed for footpath, ramp, staircase of public building over 25 mm thick (Avg) Cement mortar (1:3) & Cement Slurry @ 4.4 kg/Sq.m ut hack side of Black. (Cement for Martar & Slurry to be supplied by Department). in all respect i.e, with all labour and material. (ii) Coloured Decorative  (Border concrete if necessary to be paid separately). EARTHWORK FOR RIVERS, CHANNELS, CANALS, EMBANKMENTS ETC.1.26 Clearing and removal of debris (including floating debris) including sludge & slush mixed with all sorts of industrial waste, solid/semi-solid compact mass formed due to water hyacinth in combination with industrial wastes, carcasses, municipal garbage sludge, polypacks, thick and thorny jungles and long grass etc. and depositing, spreading the same on the canal bank and later burnt to ashes when dry including all leads and lifts complete.

BUILDING WORKS (A) EARTH WORK,ANTITERMITE TREATMENT 5. Earth work in filling in compound, tank, low land, ditches etc. with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including breaking clods and consolidating the same by ramming and dressing complete. (Payment will be made on profile  measurement before and after the work) (b) (iii) With carried earth arranged by the contractor within a radius exceeding 5 km. but not exceeding 10 km. including cost of carried earth.

BUILDING WORKS (F) STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS, GRILLS, GATES ETC. A. ORIGINAL WORKS 13. (a) M.S.or W.I. Ornamental grill of approved design joints continuously welded with M.S, W.I. Flats and bars of windows,railing etc. fitted and fixed with necessary screws and lugs in ground floor. (Add extra @ 1% for each addl. floor upto 4th floor and @ 1.25% for each addl. floor above 4th floor) ((ii) Grill weighing above 16 Kg./sq.mtr and above. (MODE OF MEASUREMENT):-The weight of grill per sq.m. will be determined by taking the physical weight of fabricated grill and dividing the same by covered area of the same. N.B.
