Taking out sluice valve by unscrewing nuts and bolts carefully and stacking the same within a lead of 30M including bailing out water from the Sluicevalve chamber due to normal seepage. if any. all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Dismantling of Sluice Value Chcmber, where necessary. shall be paid extra as per relevant items of Schedule of Rates) Diameter in mm 600

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5 Kg. / m. or 15 % of weight for finished structal members weighing less than 22.5 Kg. / m. may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer In Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initiial 8m. or part thereof. I) For structural members of specified sections weighing less than 22.5 Kg./m

Gas cutting of M.S. pipes and/or M.S. plates of different thickness all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in- Charge. Thikness in mm 5mm to 8mm thick plate

Field welding of machined ends of pieces of M.S pipes and specials forlaying the same inside trench/over ground by means of electric arc welding as per relevant ISspecification using standard electrodes including edgepreparation and charges of deployment of electric generator set with fuel, lubricant, and all other tools and plants all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. [Engineer-in-Charge shall approve the electrodes for arc welding before use ] Throat thickness in mm 12mm

Flange joint to C.l./D.l/MS. pipes and specials including supply of rubber gasket. nuts. bolts. washers etc. of best quality to make the joint watertight at required hydraulic pressure all complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Diameter in mm 600mm dia.

Materials delivered and stacked at site: 6)d)Silver Sand. Note: 1. The above rates are inclusive of all charges such as Royalty, Supervision Charges, etc. and also include allowance for sinkage, as applicable, and/or shrinkage and 10% Contractor's Profit but exclusive of GST 2. LowerIng M.S pipes & specials in trench up to a depth of 3.00 metre below G.L, laying and jointing the same inside the trench / over ground by means of electric arc welding using standard electrodes as per l.S. specification, all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. [The Engineer-in-Charge shall approve the electrodes for arc welding before use. (For laying over ground. the rates shall be reduced by 10% and that is inclusive of holding arrangements) ] 600mm

Lowering, fitting and fixing of all types of valves in proper position and alignment using chain pully block or crane(for diameter above 250 mm) by providing temporary support,as required,gaskets,nuts& bolts etc.all cornplete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. [The rate Includes cost of flange joints] 600mm dia.

Supply of Flat Rubber Gasket of EPDM Quality with ISI Mark to IS: 5382/1985 Type-4 suitable for flange joint, drilled to IS: 1538 (Table ... VI). The gasket should have dual thickness 3/6mm with 6 mm thickness at the sealing cross section.600mm dia

Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc (This item is applicable to new work or old work when the original surface has been exposed by removal of old paint.)

Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary :(b) On steel or other metal surface :With super gloss (hi-gloss) -(iv) Two coats (with any shade except white)
