PROTECTIVE AND LINING WORKS IN CANALS & CHANNELS AND OTHER FLOOD PROTECTIVE MEASURES 2.24.Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).

MATERIALS AND LABOUR 1. Building (A) Materials delivered and stacked at site:      6)d)Silver Sand. Note: 1. The above rates are inclusive of all charges such as Royalty, Supervision Charges, etc. and also include allowance for sinkage, as applicable, and/or shrinkage and 10% Contractor?s Profit but exclusive of GST 2. Rates for Sand and Brick/ Jhama/ Bats items are complete rates at site and no other costs need to be considered. For other items, necessary loading-unloading & carriage charges are admissible. 3. Laterrite Boulder &Moorum are available in the districts as mentioned in Sl. No. ? 23 & 24 respectively, remaining districts may add necessary carriage cost as applicable. PROTECTIVE AND LINING WORKS IN CANALS & CHANNELS AND OTHER FLOOD PROTECTIVE MEASURES 2.27.Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,( tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/bag

PROTECTIVE AND LINING WORKS IN CANALS & CHANNELS AND OTHER FLOOD PROTECTIVE MEASURES 2.32.Removing earth/sand filled poly bags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag. & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site.

CHAPTER - VII MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS Dewatering by pumps including all leads, lifts and making all arrangements of disposal. where continuous flow of water from a source other than natural or ground water is encountered in case of emergency maintenance works related to leakage. breakage and making wet connections. [Note ;- In case of any other situation demanding such emergency dewatering. use of this item is to be approved by the Superintending Engineer/Tender Accepting Authority. This item shall be executed on the specific direction duly supported by proper clarification of the E.I.C. who will be satisfied in absolute discretion that such work has not been necessitated due to any natural source of water or any fault of the Contractor]

CHAPTER - I [ SUPPLEMENTARY ] EXCAVATION, SHORING, BAMBOO PILING, FENCING & SIGN BOARD, LIGHTING & SIGNALING AND SITE CLEANING ETC. 1.12 Supplying sign-board made of 25 mm thick sal plank with frame on all side of sal batten 50 mm x 32 mm with nailed on post 3.15m x 100mm x100mm and fitting fixing such with digging holes of dia 300 mm and depth 750 mm in all sorts of soil and repacking and consolidating the gap aroundthe post with cement concrete (1 : 3 : 6) painting 2 coats including cost of nails, bolts and nuts etc. complete in all respect as per direction of theEngineer-in-charge. Payment of concrete and painting to be made separately. (i) 600 mm. x 450 mm. size of board.

CHAPTER - I [ SUPPLEMENTARY ] EXCAVATION, SHORING, BAMBOO PILING, FENCING & SIGN BOARD, LIGHTING & SIGNALING AND SITE CLEANING ETC. 1.14 Signalling arrangement at both sides of site to avoid any accident during working period 4 nos. red flags during sunlight at 4 corners and 2 nos light (lamp) in other than sunlight.

SECTION(B) - SANITARY AND DRAINAGE WORKS.(B)-(II) SOIL PIPE AND FITTINGS.(a) Original Works.(16.)Supplying, fitting and fixing with cement jointing (3:1) salt glazed stoneware pipe including excavation of earth upto 1.50 metre depth in all sorts of soil both mixed or unmixed and refilling (but excluding concreting at bottom and sides).(ii) 225 mm

Construction of manhole with chamber of size as given below as per requirement  and 600mm X 600mm. (inside measurement) square shaft, with cement brick work (1:4) over 150 mm. thick jhama cement concrete (1:4:8) bed, over a layer of brick flat soling including providing 150mm. thick R.C.C. slab with ordinary concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with reinforcement as per standard drawing  over the chamber, brick-on-edge flooring with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) in the invert with 20mm. thick cement plaster (1:4) finished fine with 1.5mm. thick neat cement in the inside walls and invert including supplying, fitting and fixing R.C.P.C. cover and frame (35 M.T. load bearing capacity) with ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) and C.I. steps (4 Kg. each) including cutting hard crust, excavation, de-watering, back filling and removal of spoils but excluding shoring complete as per standard drawing. (Depth of invert shall not be less than 1.80M below G.L.)Average depth of invert 2.5m. below G.L.iii) Average depth of invert 2.5m. below G.L   With 375 mm. thick brick work b) Above 400 mm to 600 mm dia having internal size (1500mmx1100mm)

(Depth of invert shall not be less than 1.80M below G.L.)Average depth of invert 2.5m. below G.L. iv) Addition or reduction to rate of manhole as per above item for each addition or reduction in depth of 150 mm. or part thereof. With 375 mm. thick brick work     (Depth of invert should not exceed 3.00M.) b) Above 400 mm to 600 mm dia having internal size (1500mmx1100mm)

Constructing gully pit to a depth of 1.50m (Insid(e) with 250mm th. 1st class Brick Work (1:4) in all sides over a layer of jhama brick soling & 100mm th. jhama cement concrete (1:4:8) including necessary earth work, providing approved type C.I. Syphone (225mm dia) with topping RCPC gully grid (15MT load bearing capacity) constructing invert with brick -on-edge, including 20mm th. inside cement plaster (1:4) finished with neat cement punning, at the top 150mm th. R.C.C. slab (1:1.5:3)  with stone chips including necessary reinforcement , shuttering as per standard drawing  and as directed by E-I-C complete in all respect and removal of surplus earth with all costs of labour and materials. PLUMBING WORKS (A)-(II) G.I. PIPE WORKS AND FITTINGS 2. Supplying, fitting and fixing in position G.I. pipes of TATA make for underground works with all necessary accessories,specials viz.socket, bend, tee, union, cross, elbow, nipple, short piece etc.including cost of all materials,jointing materials ,cutting pipes,making threads,cutting trenches upto 1.5 metre below surface in all sorts of soil and refilling the same as directed with two coats of painting on G.I. pipes and specials with bituminous paint complete in all respect. (Payment will be made on the centre line measurement of the total pipe line including all specials No separate payment will be made for accessories, specials.Payment for painting will be made seperately) (ii) 20 mm dia. medium quality

PLUMBING WORKS (A)-(II) G.I. PIPE WORKS AND FITTINGS 2. BUILDING WORKS(P) SOLING, EDGING AND METALLING??(1)Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction.(c) Soling or dry pavement with one brick-on-edge on a layer of brick flat (thicknass 125 mm. plus 75 mm.)
