Disconnecting the pump discharge branch from the delivery line and lifting the total pump assembly after removing the cap screw between discharge head and sole plate by removing top column assembly discharge elbow assembly including all shafts coupling and the bowl assembly on proper support (Requried M.S. channels to provide support to pump assembly and mechanical tools and tackles i.e Gas cutting etc. as needed to execute this item if work are to be provided by the contractor at his own cost.

Cleaning the motor and removing dust from inside the by suitable degreasing & regreasing the motor bearing with approved quality grease (to be supplied by the contractor) as per direction of the EIC.

Re-installation of the motor stool and motor by making proper allignment with the line shaft and motor coupling within permissible limit, fixing coupling bolts and nuts, worn out rubber pads of the coupling bolts are to be replaced by supplying new rubber pads by the contractor at his own cost.Making re-connection of the cooling water line, refixing and re-arrangement of the L.T cable and connection of the same to the motor terminals and commissioning of the pump-motor set is to be carried out under the supervision of an expert of the said job in order to get better performance.
