Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Supplying, fitting and placing un-coated HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Foundation including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading,carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.( TATA/SAIL/RINL Brand)

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction.(a) Where staging is required.

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-in charge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length,fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete . The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5 Kg. / m. or 15 % of weight for finished structal members weighing less than 22.5 Kg. / m. may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer In Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initiial 8m. or part thereof. II) For built up sections / srtuctural members of specified sections weighing not less than 22.5 Kg./m

Painting with ready mixed red lead paint of approved make and brand :

B) Painting with superior quality aluminium paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. on steel surface :i) Two coats

Cast-in-situ cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed size and specification,in nominal Mix propertion. 1:1.5:3( corresponding to M20 grade) with well graded 20mm down stone metal aggregate, laid in position by casting in alternative panels or otherwise to keep a gap of 12mm between the adjacent units, over a layer of polythene sheet of thickness not less than 100 um to act as a separator between the bottom surface of the block and sand cushion the filter material laid below the blocks,including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing the exposed surface by trowl without adding any additional cement sand mortar curing and filling the gaps between the adjacent units by 5.6mm down coarse aggregate to be compacted properly, with all leads and lifts including supply and carriage of all materials, complete, without the cost of sand cushion/ filter. (The rate is exclusive of the cost of stone aggregate and its carriage upto site. Construction wing has to add the cost of same from the SoR of PW (Roads) to derive the consolidated rate. Consumption chart of the USoR may be used for assessing the quantity of coarse aggregates per cum of concrete).With Stone aggregatesl of Pakur, or Rajmahal North Bengal or broken stone of North Bengal varieties)

Providing and laying Filter material underneath pitching in slopes complete as per drawing andTechnical specification. Note:-Add cost of 0.72 m3 of brick aggregates / river bed materials and 0.48 m3 of coarse sand (loose volume) to arrive at the consolidated rate.

Supplying fitting and fixing R.C. guard post 1.37m long with C.C. 1:2:4 with graded stone chips of 13.2mm down casting , curing complete including cost of providing 4nos.of 12mm dia. rod of length 1.54m as main reinforcement and 6 nos. of round shaped 8mm dia rods used as binders; the placing of the first binder should be at 75mm below the top finished surface and the other 5 nos of binders should be placed at 245mm c/c ; the guard post is of octagonal section with inscribed circle of dia 24cm at the base tapering to corresponding dimensions of 16cm at the top including two coats of painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and grade to form 6 nos. horizontal alternate bands in white/tannery yellow and black to 90 cm length standing up above ground after mendinggood damages if any during striking off shuttering, making hole in ground of 47cm depthand 30cm. minimum dia, fixing the guard posts in the same holes and repacking the earth properly so as to keep the guard posts standing properly erect in correct position true to line and length including carriage of R. C. Guard Post with due care to the site including loading into the truck and unloading at site complete in all respect. With Pakur variety stone chips

Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins above 5 cm.diameter and upto 7.5 cm. diameter. (Dia. to be measured at mid length).

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scaffolding and driving appliances. (a) Where boats are not necessary

Supplying, fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo wailing pieces (av. dia. of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm

Supplying to site empty cement polythene bags (capacity 50kg) in good condition including stacking, incedental charges etc. all complete (capacity 50 kg).

Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,( tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028cum/bag

Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.

Removing earth/sand filled poly bags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag. & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site

Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits /River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc.complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (a) Ordinary soil / local soil / soil mixed with moorum or kankar / silt, dryor moist / slushy silt / sticky soil.

Pumping out water from ponds or tanks. Payment (if permitted will be made on the quantity of water calculated on the basis of initial water level and final level on consideration being made for any water that may have been added through percolation or otherwise)

Extra rate for using water proofing and plasticising admixture @ 0.2% by weight of cement (or at manufacturer's specified rate) for concrete of various grades.
