Protection Works

Quarrying, carrying, supplying stone boulders / shingles from the Engineer-in-charge selected quarrying site to the site of work including cost of materials, loading, unloading and carriage including all incidental charges like Royalty and including labour charges for laying boulders in apron or within wire netting of sausage for slope pitching and all lifts and dressing the exposed faces etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Quarry bed belongs to the Forest Deptt. Govt. of WB) N.B.The construction wing is to add royalty and other related fees at the presently prescribed rates for forest and non-forest area as stated below to arrive at the total rate at quarry site till such rates are modified by the Forest Department and Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, Government of West Bengal. (a) For Forest area Royalty including entry fee and TP fee : Rs. 178.33 per Cum (b) For Non-Forest area Royalty : Rs. 106.00 per Cum Royalty( including other charges wherever applicable) certificates in original from competent authority are to be submitted along with the bill,otherwise amount due towards Royalty( including other charges wherever applicable, but excluding GST) will be deducted from the bills of works . Boulder above 30 Kg each 60% ,Boulder above 20 kg 20% , Boulder above 10 kg 10%

Quarrying, carrying, supplying stone boulders / shingles from the Engineer-in-charge selected quarrying site to the site of work including cost of materials, loading,unloading and carriage including all incidental charges like Royalty and labour charges for laying boulder on top or slope pitching by placing required boulders(each weing 25kg & above within lead of 100 metres and all lifts)including filling the interstices with fragments as required, preparing sub-grade by cutting or filling the earth on slope upto 7.5cm. depth, watering and ramming where necessary complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. ) N.B.The construction wing is to add royalty and other related fees at the presently prescribed rates for forest and non-forest area as stated below to arrive at the total rate at quarry site till such rates are modified by the Forest Department and Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, Government of West Bengal. (a) For Forest area Royalty including entry fee and TP fee : Rs. 178.33 per Cum (b) For Non-Forest area Royalty : Rs.106.00 per Cum Royalty( including other charges wherever applicable) certificates in original from competent authority are to be submitted along with the bill,otherwise amount due towards Royalty( including other charges wherever applicable, but excluding GST) will be deducted from the bills of works Boulder above 20 Kg each.

Labour charges for collecting loose scattered laterite and stone boulders from slope, bed or apron and stacking the same above ground level within a lead of 100 metre and all lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Relaying displaced stone or laterite boulder pitching dressing prepairing bed with necessary earthwork upto 30 cm depth complete with cost of collection of boulder within a lead of 30 metre.

N.B.The construction wing is to add royalty and other related fees at the presently prescribed rates for forest and non-forest area as stated below to arrive at the total rate at quarry site till such rates are modified by the Forest Department and Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, Government of West Bengal. Making rectraingular/ circular sausage cage with 10 SWG galvanized iron wire of 150mmx150mm mesh wire netting with proper lapping of minimum 150mm including sewing the joints with 12 SWG GI wire and supply of all materials and equipments including placing the sausage cage in position , filling the same with boulder or lump aggregates complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge but excluding the cost of boulder/ lump aggregates and its carriage upto site (Cost is excluding the cost of end pices) 1.50 metre diameter

Supply of G.I. wire netting of different mesh and made with different SWG GI wire at site as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Mesh size 150 mm x 150 mm with 10 SWG wire

Supplying, fitting, fixing end pieces for rectangular /square /circular sausages at the ends, with 10 SWG /8 SWG GI wire net of different mesh sizes tying & sewing the same maintaining a lap length of 150mm all around with 12 SWG GI wire complete, including the cost of supply of wire netting, fitting etc, complete as per direction of the Engineer- in- chargee) Mesh size 150 mm x 150 mm with 10 SWG wire-

Labour charges for constructing sausage crates with 8 gauge or 10 gauge dia. GI Wire netting of difference shapes and size in embankment, apron, slope etc. including binding with 12 SWG Wire and tied are required interval as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.( Rate exclude as per wire net and laying of boulders but excludes cost of binding wire.)

Quarrying, Carrying, Supplying stone boulders / shingles etc at quarry site selected by the Engineer -In- Charge from the quarrying site selected by Engineer-In-Charge to the site of work including cost of materials, loading, unloading, stacking and carriage including all incidental charges like royalty and labour charges for dumping/ laying of river bed materials / singles/ Brick Bats, from of worksite with all leads & lifts in water or spreading the same on the slope of bank of River/ Sea or slope of the embankment or in the River/ Sea bed to an uniform thickness as per direction of the Engineer-In -Charge including cost of accessories or other incidental charges.( Quarry bed belongs to BL & LRO Deptt, Govt. of W.B) N.B.The construction wing is to add royalty and other related fees at the presently prescribed rates for forest and non-forest area as stated below to arrive at the total rate at quarry site till such rates are modified by the Forest Department and Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, Government of West Bengal. Quarrying, Carrying, Supplying stone boulders/shingles from the Engineer-in-charge selected quarrying site to the site of work including cost of materials ,loading ,unloading and stacking and carriage and including all incidental charges like Royalty and labour charges for laying boulder in apron or within wire netting of sausage for slope pitching and all lifts and dressing the exposed faces etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer in charge. ( Quarry bed belongs to non-Forest area.) Item provided for repair of approach road for smooth running inspection and to carry flood fighting materials smoothly. N.B.The construction wing is to add royalty and other related fees at the presently prescribed rates for forest and non-forest area as stated below to arrive at the total rate at quarry site till such rates are modified by the Forest Department and Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, Government of West Bengal. Turfing Work

Turfing with chorkata or durba grass sods 5 cm. to 8 cm. thick in slope, crest berm etc. Of embankments, canals and drainage channels etc. Within a lead of 150 metre and all lifts including fine dressing, watering, ramming guarding etc. complete (sods will have to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Payment to be made on the grown grass only)
