Earthwork in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, inall sorts of soil (includingmixed soil but excluding laterite or sand stone) including removing,spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed.The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling,dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

(A)Filling in foundationorplinthby silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity)

Single BrickFlat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) (f) 25 mm to 30 mm shuttering without staging in foundation

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. (i) Pakur Variety.

M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS:226, IS:808 & SP(6)-1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-in -charge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting,metal arc welding conforming to IS:816-1969 & IS:1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814-2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes,gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for thework including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts andnutsmay bemake by adding theactualweight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural member weighing not less than 22.5Kg. /m.or 15% of weight for finished structal membersweighinglessthan22.5Kg. /m.may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items,as per direction of EngineerIn Charge.The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. /2nd floor leve from the ground. Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor) . Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC . Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. In Ground floor (Two Coat) a) Normal Acrylic Emulsion

Removing loose scales, blisters etc. from old painted surface and thoroughly smoothening the surface to make the same suitable for receiving fresh coat of paint.

Priming one coat on steel or other metal surface with synthetic oil bound primer of approved quality including smoothening surfaces by sand papering etc.

(A)Painting with best quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and brand including smoothening surface by sand papering etc. including using of approved putty etc. on the surface, if necessary : (b) On steel or other metal surface : (iv) Two coats (with any shade except white)

Labour charges for collecting or taking out displaced cement concrete or brick blocks of all sizes from slope,bed or apron and relaying the same in canal bed or slopes including clearing,dressing, ramming an preparing bed with necessary earthwork complete within a lead of 200 metre and all lifts complete.

Making filter with well graded 40 mm down ballasts and laying uniformly behind weep holes ,below pitching on bed, side slopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earthworkup to 30 cm depth ,where necessary and compacting with wooden malllet after laying to achieve designed section as per directio of the Engineer-in-Charge(measurements will be on finished work/ in stack after deducting necessary void). Precast cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed size and specification, with well graded stone metal aggregate, including dressing, ramming,shuttering, finishing the top surface with 1:3 cement and sand mortar, curing, transporting and laying the blocks or lining units at worksite in position, over filter, layer, keeping a gap of 6mm between the adjacent units, by sue of removable plyboards or non removable thermocol boards,withall leads and lifts, including supply and carriage of all materials complete. Earthwork inexcavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts both ways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of theEngineer-in-chargewith in a lead of Note: - The rate includes compensation for earth for land owned and arranged by contractor @ Rs. 25.00 per cum. The rate also includes Royalty charges on earth @ Rs. 29.00 per cum. and cesses @ Rs. 5.30 per cum. as per Govt. notification which will be paid on production of necessary documents in support of payment made towards the Royalties and Cesses. NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / pre post work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking. Labour for driving Jhaw / Eucalyptus bullah piles by monkey in all sorts of soil including hoisting and placing piles in position, protecting the pile head with iron ring and cutting and shaping heads before and after driving and including hire and labour for necessary driving appliances and all tackles. Note: 1) Payment to be made on the length driven into the ground. Diameter to be measured at 1.5m. from the thicker end. (iii) 15 cm av. Diameter

Note-4) For driving done by pile engine set (with heavy staging or from specially made pontoon) under specific instruction of Engineer-incharge, the rates will be enhanced by ` 7.00 per metre.

Taking out Jhaw/Eucalyptus piles from river bed or from else where including carrying, stacking materials in the nearest stack yard. (a) Up to 17.5 cm. diameter

Suppling to site empty cement polythene bags( capcity 50 kg) in good condition including stacking , incedental charges etc all complete .

Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,(tying with a knot after filling will not be accepted ) , and stacking within a lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials).

Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.

Removing earth/sand filled poly bags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag. & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site.

Pumping out water from ponds or tanks(payment if permitted will be made on the quantity of water calculated on the basis of initial water level and final level on consideration being made for any water may have been added through percolation or otherwise.
