The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weighing not less than 22.5 Kg. / m. or 15 % of weight for finished structal members weighing less than 22.5 Kg. / m. may be increased allow for bracket, cleat, rivet, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer In Charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m. / 2nd floor level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initiial 8m. or part thereof. Removing old paint from blistered painted surface with application of soda, sajimati or any approved chemical paint remover and exposing the original surface including cleaning and thorough washing to remove all traces of the removing agent including taking out shutters and refixing the same where necessary

Installationof M.S steel Gangway including repairing and replacement of steel members.if necessary (excluding the cost of steel members) drilling, necessary holes, wealding (renewing of fresh12 mm) tightenning with bolts and nuts, if requred, supply of HYFG bolts of G.K.W made of requredsize with necessary washers (tightening to be cheacked with calibrated taught wrench) cleats, stiffeners,gusset plates including hoisting, erecting, fitting, fixing and assembling the Gangway with all labours,and materials etc. Complete with cost of red lead painting of approved brand after cleaning the surfaceproperly, placing the gangway properly to pontoon and fixed to yoke including fitting the yoke withall accessories with all scaffolding and providing all such facilities to execute and complete the workas per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Labour Charge for lifting and dismainting gangway & accessaries including removing bolts and nuts without damaging the same including lubricating the same for preservation to godown including cutting welding without carriage the steel members with neccessary scaffolding and machineries for lifting the gangway the all including chargs as per direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Labour charges for taking out old wood work including cutting bolts and nuts and stacking within a lead of 100 metre etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The quantum should be corrected upto 3 decimels)

Taking out Jhaw / Eucalyptus piles from river bed or from elsewhere including carrying, stacking materials in the nearest stack yard. (a) Up to 17.5 cm. diameter

Taking out bullah wailing piecesafter removingnuts, boltsand iron nails and stacking the same within 150 metre from the site of work including sorting out and stacking serviceable meterials.

Supply of material to site 1st Class Bricks (kiln burnt) Stored and Stacked at site

Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. (a) Brick-on-endedging (250 mm) depth.

Labour for laying soiling with departmental bricks including carriage of departmental bricks within a lead of 150 metres preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with brick joints properly filled in and packed with local sand or powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar materials below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used)(The item included the cost of obtaining local sand or powdered earth)(b) Double brick flat soling (thickness 75 mm. plus 75 mm)

Labour charges for filling empty cement gunny bag / polythene bag (capacity 50 kg) with all kinds of earth (wet or dry), sand or agreegates(stone / brick) and sewing as done in case of cement bags ,( tying with a knot after filling willnot beaccepted ) , andstacking withina lead of 30 metre as per direction of Engr-in-charge (cost is excluding the cost of any types of filling materials). NB:- Volume of earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 cum/ bag.

Dumping in position earth / sand filled gunny / poly bags (capacity 50 kg) within a lead of 30 metre inclusive of all lifts.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile,levellingasper direction ofthe Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking.

Labour for taking out old soling edging including removing debris.(b) Double flat soling

Labour for taking out brick-on-end edging including removing debris to flank or berm sorting out serviceable materials and stacking.
