Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments,repairs to the embankment,closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any othe rmechanical meanson land,including loading,transporting,unloading and stacking with a lift s bothways and headload where necessary and depositing the same on embankments,clannels,filling depressions in requisite profile,levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of,NB :- Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / pre-post work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking. E) Beyond 4.00 km and upto 5.00 km ( This rate is includes for earth for land owned/arranged by the contractor @ Rs.25.00 per cum and royalty charges on earth @ Rs. 29.00 per cum & cesses charges @ Rs. 5.30 per cum i.e Rs. 15.00 per 100 cft as per govt. notification which will be paid on production of necessary document in support of payment made towards the royalty and cesses ) ( the payment is to be made on the basis of the finished compact volume ) specified in 6 th corrigenda PWD (Road and bridge)

Bailing or pumping out water from foundation trenches. This item should be executed on the specific direction of the Engineer-in-charges when he is satisfied in his absolute discretion, that this has not been necessitated due to any fault on the part of the contractor. (Payment, if permitted, will be made on the quantity of water calculated on the basis of initial and final water calculated on the basis of initial and final water level measured before starting and completion of each days work which necessitates a bailing / pumping of water from the trench. The final level of water to be measured, will depend on the level at which the day's work will be taken up. The rate includes any seepage water that may percolate in the trench during pumping)

Excavation for Structures Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, cross - drain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Tor Steel rods / HYSD bars / TMT bars (SAIL/TATA/RINL) (Fe 415 /Fe 500 /Fe 500D, conforms to IS: 1786)
