The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works, such as construction of new building, new bridge, new culvert, reconstruction of building, bridge, culvert, construction of rigid pavement, reconstruction of rigid pavement, construction of new flexible pavement, widening and strengthening of flexible pavement, and improvement of riding quality or strengthening of flexible pavement. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least the amount put to tender. The bidder's experience will be evaluated based on the value of engineering works undertaken during the last 5 years. The maximum value of projects undertaken during this period will be considered, and this value will be updated to the current price level using an updation factor. The intending tenderers should produce credentials of a similar nature of completed work as a prime agency of the minimum value of 20% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. Alternatively, they should produce credentials of one single running work of similar nature as a prime agency which has been completed to the extent of 70% or more, with a value of not less than the desired value at 20% of the estimated amount put to tender. The bidder is required to submit a list of work in progress and work orders issued but not started, with details such as name of the work, tender number, estimated amount, and percentage of work executed. The bidder's annual value of construction works undertaken for the years 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 should also be provided. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated using the formula [AxNx2 – B], where A is the maximum value of work done in a single year during the last five years, B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, and N is the time of completion of the work in years. The bidder should have experienced technical personnel, including at least one degree holder in Civil Engineering, two diploma holders in Civil Engineering, and one diploma holder in Electrical Engineering. The bidder's net worth for the last year will also be considered, and the bidder's working capital should not be less than 15% of the amount put to tender, with a minimum of 5% being the bidder's own resource.
