Ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant codes.

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc. initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at inter-section, complete as per drawing and direction. For works in foundation, basement and up to roof of ground floor/up to 4m. Tor steel/Mild steel.

Labour for scraping and picking up old dilapidated mortal/plaster (cement/Surki/Lime mortat) from the surface of old Brick faces including cleaning the frog with out damaging the Brick and stacking the Bricks at site / Stacking yard as per direction of Engineer-in-charg including removing all debris rubbish from site complete.

Hire and labour charge for shuttering with centreing and necessary staging up to 4 m. using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thick ness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams, columns, lintels curved or staight including fitting fixing and striking out after complection of works. (up to roof of ground floor).

(a) 25 mm. to 30 mm. thick wooden shuttering as per decision & direction of the Engineer-in-charge. .

(b) 25mm. To 30mm. Shuttering with out staging in foundation etc.

125 mm. thick brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:4) in ground floor.

(a) In foundation and plinth

Stripping off worn out plaster and raking out joints of walls, celings etc. up to any height and in any floor including removing rubbish with in a lead of 75 m as directed. .

Plaster ( to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering conrners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (ground floor). [Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface].

(a) With 1:4 cement mortar . (i) 15 mm. thick plaster.

Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick in wall, dado, windowsill, floor etc.NOTE:Cement 0.152 cu.m per100 sq.m.

Applying exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plaster or concrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (mat finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly complete as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of the EIC. In Ground Floor:.

(a) two coat.

Protective and decorative textured exterior high class matt finish paint of approved quality, composed of special Thermoplastic Resin containing fine crystalline additives derive from Granite as per manufacturer's specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer. In Ground floor.Two coat. N.B. This item is to be selected only with written permission of Superintending Engineer for very resticted and small areas of a building.

Clearing compound premises of shurbs, plants, jungles etc.by cutting and removing as directed (Specific permission ofEngineer-in-Charge prior to execution will be necessary).(Payment to be made on area cleared)

Uprooting and removing plants from the surface of walls parapet etc. and making good damages.Repairing of damages to be paid separately.

(a) Small plant of girth of exposed stem upto 75 mm. lift upto 6 mtr.

(b) Medium size plant of girth of exposed stem above 75 mm. but not exceeding 150 mm. lift upto 6 mtr.

Removal of rubbish, earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal/Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge.

Supplying, fitting galvanised 3 ply 12 gauge/ 4 points line of barbed wire in fencing (holes already made in the body of the post) or fixed by staples tightening and fixing the wires in taut condition with straining bolts including the cost of cutting and of lapping joints in the wire as necessary but excluding the cost of glvanised staples, straining bolt and binding wire where necessary. (Payment to be made on the lenght of individual lines of wire.).

M.S structural work in colums, beams etc. with simple roled structural members (e.g. joints angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineering -in- charge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc weldingconforming to IS: 816 - 1956 & IS :1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS: 814 - 1957, haulage, hoisting and erections all complete. the rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidential charges such as electricity charges, labour incurance charges etc.(Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for Gusset, bracket, cleat, rivets, bolts and nuts may be make by adding the actual weight of such items with the weight of finished structural members or 7% of weight for finished structural members weitghing not less than 22.5Kg./m. or 15% of weight for finished structural members weighing less than 22.5 kg./m. may be incressed to allow for bracket, cleat, revets, bolts and nuts etc. and no seperate payment being made for these items, as per direction of Engineer-In-charge. The rates are considered for a height of erection 8m./ 2nd. floor level from level from the ground. Add 1.5% extra over the rate for each additional floor or 4m. beyond initial 8m. or part there of.

(a) For structural members/built up sections of specified sections weighing less than 22.5kg./m.
