The required prior work experience for the bidder varies based on their qualifications. For a Degree Holder in Civil Engineering or an experienced Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering, the required experience is 3 years, while for a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering, it is also 3 years. A Supervisor is required to have 4 years of experience, and there is also a requirement of 10 years of experience in construction. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of the same type of work with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract within the last 5 years. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed 2 similar nature of work, each of minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years. Additionally, the bidder must have completed at least one work of similar nature in a single contract as a prime contractor within the last five years, with a value of not less than 40% of the amount put to tender. The bidder should also have an available bid capacity equal to or more than the total bid value, and a Bank Credit Certificate of 10% of the Amount put to tender.
