The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing specific similar works within the last 07 years. The similar works requirements are as follows: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the bidder must have completed similar works with the same percentages of the advertised value for each component of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have completed at least one similar work costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted in the last 5 years, unless the subletting work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no prior experience is required. The minimum average annual contractual turnover is calculated using the formula V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The bidder's details of works completed during the last Seven years are to be filled in Annexure-I.
