Supply and fabrication of any steel bridge members for repairing/strengthening or modification of bridge girders by providing plate etc or any other steel member for provision of inspection facilities such as platform etc made up of MS Plate, Angle, Channels of different dimensions including painting with one coat of Ready Mixed Zinc Chromate conforming to IS: 104 followed by one coat of ready mixed Zinc Chromate Red Oxide conforming to IS: 2074 on the contact 01 surface of new members and one thick coat of ready mixed Zinc Chromate on the contact surface of existing members. All MS section shoud confrm to IS: 2062 E 250B0 . Fabrication to be done as per existing or as per approved drawing or as per instruction of engineer in charge. The rate shall include supply and cutting of new steel section, drilling for rivetting/bolting, assembling/Fixing of members initially by service bolts & nuts and finally by rivetting/HSFG Bolts & nuts with DTI washer etc or by welding or as directed by Engg. in Charge with all tools, plants, labour, consumables, machineries and accessories etc. The work will be executed as per IRS: B1-2001 and IRBM with latest corrigendum.

Drilling holes of mimimum 21.5 mm dia as per approved drawing or as per instruction 10 of engineering in charge on any location of existing girder for fixing of new member. The rate shall include all tools, plants,Consumables, labour etc required to carry out the work complete in all respects.

Painting cleaned triangulated bridge girders including all scaffolding, along with 05 provision Chromate conforming to IS:104 with DFT of 25-30 Microns followed by one coat of Zinc Chrome redof Jhoola / hanging scaffolding ladder where required. With one coat ready mix Zinc oxide conforming to IS:2074 with DFT of 25 Microns.

Painting of cleaned plate/composite bridge girders including all scaffolding along with 03 provision of Jhoola / hanging scaffolding ladders etc. where required. With one coat ready mix Zinc Chromate conforming to IS:104 with DFT of 25-30 Microns followed by one coat of Zinc Chromate red oxide conforming to IS:2074 DFT of 25 Microns

Erection of newly fabricated member by bolts & nuts ( HTS/HSGG) or by rivetting/welding as per approved drawing or as directed by Engg in Charge. The rate is inclussive of 02 drilling holes in RCC of Pier/ Abutments for providing bolts and grouting the same with epoxy compound after fixing the members by bolts & nuts. The work has to be carried out as per IRS B1- 2001, IRBM with or without traffic block. The rate shall include all tools, plants,consumable, labours etc.required to carry out the work including loading, unloading, crossing of track etc.The rate shall also include the cost of rivet and rivetting.

Dismantling of any bridge member from existing girder under traffic block as per approved scheme . The rate includes cost of all tools & Tackles staging including their erection and dismantling etc.

Supply, fabrication & fixing of H.D. bolts as per requirement upto a length of 600 mm 06 along with nuts , washer etc. The rate shall include grouting the holes with epoxy compound as per instruction of site incharge.The rate includes contractors men materials machineries etc.etc. required to coplete the work in all respect.

Supplying and application of levelling coarse with epoxy morter of Dr Fixit pedigrount EG-3 of M/S Pidilite Industry ltd of approx thickness of 25mm at the top of bedblock to provide uniform bed for fixing bed plate.

Hiring charge of 5 KV generator set including fuels, lubricating oils,operation and maintenance with lighting arrangement with 6 nos 500 watt halogen 2 nos point fixing complete in all respect.

Drilling of 45/50 mm dia holes upto a depth of 600 mm in RCC/masonry by power 05 driven drill without damaging the existing concrete /masonry on pier with or without traffic block. The rate includes contractors men materials machineries etc.etc. required to coplete the work in all respect.

Painting of cleaned plate/composite bridge girders including all scaffolding along with provision of Jhoola / hanging scaffolding ladders etc. where required. With two coats of Aluminium paint in dual containers conforming to IS:2339 with DFT of 15 - 20 Microns for each coat.

Lifting and lowering of girder and placement over hard wood block or traverser base or any other means to facilitate the adjustment of long & cross level or rectification of alignment including slewing of girder as per requirement. The rate shall include all labours, tools, plants, machineries like proper capacity of Hy. jack, traverser base etc. etc. hard wood block, scaffolding or any other materials required to carry out the work complete in all respect. ( one operation means lifting & lowering of both ends of the span consisting of two leaves.) Note : Each means Each operation

Painting cleaned triangulated bridge girders including all scaffolding, along with provision of Jhoola / hanging scaffolding ladder where required. With two coats Aluminium paint in dual containers conforming to IS:2339 with DFT of 15 - 20 Microns for each coat.
