1. 04 nos. Mounting bracket is to be provided with 04 nos. Pressure switch to be provided in each Air Bellow mounting motor coach/Trailer Coach (i.e 2 nos. Pressure switch in each bogie frame) duly electrically coupled with body. 2. 04 Nos. Pressure Switches per Coaches boradly conforms to the parameters as mentioned in RDSO' MODIFICATION SHEET NO. RDSO/PE/MS/EMU/0093-2024(Rev.00), DATE OF ISSUE:- MAY'2024 are to be provided which are to be physically mounted on Body, pneumatically connected to air pressure of Air Spring and electrically connected AS PER RDSO SCHEMATIC WIRING DIAGRAM AT ANNEXURE-I. (The actual mounting arrangement of a pressure switch and associated pneumatic connection is enclosed as Annexure-II (Drawing No. ICF/SK3-3-5-046). No welding work is to be done for fixing the pressure switch, a fixture is to be provided for fitting the pressure switch so that it can be easily be replaced if required). 3. The sufficient space is to be provided during fitment of Pressure Switch of easy replacement in future if required. 4. 4 nos. Bolt of M6 x 40 mm with proper nut, spring, and flat washer to be provided for fitment of Pressure Switch Fixture. 5. Stripping of Existing Pipeline for Levelling Valve The existing pipe line of the levelling valve will be carefully stripped. Any damaged or worn-out parts, including joints or fittings, will be assessed for replacement. If required, a new run tee & male elbow will be installed to ensure compatibility with the new setup. 6. Installation of Two New Pipelines Two new pipelines will be equipped in the under-frame of the coach, designed to carry compressed air from air suspension to pressure switch. The pipelines will be routed in a way that avoids interference with existing systems, ensuring smooth airflow and operation. All pipelines will be fabricated to the correct dimensions and specifications, in compliance with the air suspension system requirements as per ICF Drawing No. ICF/SK3-3-5-046. 7. Proper Clamping and Securing of Pipelines Pipelines will be securely clamped at regular intervals along the under-frame to prevent movement or vibration, ensuring long-term durability and reliability. Clamps will be selected based on material compatibility, and anti-corrosion measures will be applied to ensure long-lasting performance. Additional support may be installed in areas prone to stress or vibration to prevent leaks and maintain system integrity. 8. Installation of New Base for Pressure Switch A new base for the pressure switch will be fabricated and installed in the appropriate location to monitor the air pressure within the Air Suspension system. The base will be designed to securely hold the pressure switch while allowing easy access for maintenance and troubleshooting. Wiring and tubing connections for the pressure switch will be installed and tested for proper functionality. 9. Final Air Leakage Test is to be performed after the final fitment of the pipeline. 10. All Consumable items like thread Seals, PVC tape, cutting tools, Drilling tools etc. to be provided by the firm.
